Anybody please help me, i injured my knee over a month ago, it was swollen for about 3 weeks, now the only problem is that the nerves in my knee somehow, pop out of place, and when that happens i have to push the nerve back into place, and its quite painful, what do i do? Please reply somebody

i dislocated my knee last saturday during a celebration. we all jumped onto eachother on a pile after we scored a goal and someone smashed into my knee and it dislocated.
I dislocated my knee and fractured a bone and tore a ligament all at once and had knee surgery where they took out bone and repaired the ligament and repaired all the damage, im in a brace that makes me look like a robot. worst pain i have ever been through. going to take a full year for me to recover. and im only 15 :P so painful goodluck to you!
lucky for me i dislocated my knee and on the way of to the hospital it popped back in so really just had a mild mcl sprain and was back on the football field by the second game of the season
@moyno15 i dislocated my knee cap, but no one was around that new how to put it back in. so we had to drive to the emergency room and get it put back in there. i got xrays there as well. dont worry, its been 3 weeks since that happened and my knee is still swollen.
@moyno15 welllllll, thats not smart! haha. dont worry, itll get better, but you may want to get it checked out by a doctor. an orthopedic doctor preferably. that specializes in sports related knee injuries. thats what i went to, and now im in physical therapy. so you need to take it easy and try to get an appointment at the doctors office soon. if you dont want to permanently damage your knee and never play soccer again.

I've dislocated my knee twice. on the same knee. but they were one year apart from both dislocations.
First time when I was pushed down the stairs and I've tried to catch myself, but that was a really bad idea cause in the middle of "trying to catch" myself. I twisted around somehow and I felt a sharp pain go up my leg. plus dislocated left index finger during that fall.
the second time was when I was playing basketball. yet again. sharp pain x.x
soccer camp first day first practice first half hour bada bing bada boom!!! dislocated knee and fractured growth plate... (luckily i was still growing otherwise it would have been a torn acl :\)... still gives me issues 6 months later
Did you do anything to your MCL ligament? i completely tore mine in june and i'm waiting to have surgery for mine as it hasn't healed well, i'm having tissue replacement. So i'm wondering if you had the same injury? i could and still can pop my knee side ways like you could with yours! :(
@MiaSurplicex Yeah, I tore my ACL, I had it replaced with a cadaver acl, I also had my mcl and my meniscus repaired. I was on crutches for 1.5 months. It's much better now, but still improving.
@rootberry just went to get an mri and and xray today, their are 2 cracks in the kneecap and a possible pcl tear but the mri scan wasn't done processing so the doctor wasn't positive

haha i tore my acl mcl and pcl broke my tibia plateau and had them replaced.. its no fun but what sux is i got if fixed and it still pops out of place like that.. soo i gotta get it fixed again..
Just dislocated my knee 5 days ago, feels horrible, i DROVE after I dislocated it, it was very swollen, and it carried 89ml of blood.so i had to do the blood suction at a doctor, it hurts a lot, specially that he pierces the needle through the joints and muscles, and it just hurts realy bad. afterwards i did an MRI scan, and they discovered that I dislocated my knee. I will have to do a serious surgery in about 7-8 months because the *ball* doesnt fit the socket any more :S hope ur better now

I've dislocated my left knee 3 times, and my right knee once when i was rollerblading, i was at interskate 91 and i was on rollerblades, i got to the rails and my kneecap moved to the side of my knee, i was taken out on a stretcher cause i couldnt move without it hurting like hell
my knee pops in and out and when i got out of the car for camp like 5 weeks ago it happened and i guess i knocked out like a huge piece of cartilge so i guess that is bad. so i am having surgry on my birthday the 21 of july
ouch! i know how it feels man, i had an accident with my knee too, it was at karate. i was sparring with this guy and we both kicked at the same time and our knees collided... really painful but not as bad as your injury haha, get well soon
@rootberry During soccer i was dribling and while i was taking a shot this kid clobered me and it just poped. i dont need surgery just bed rest though so thats good lol.
@dbdiamond3 Good thing you don't need surgery, surgery is the worst part. It takes so, SO long to recover after surgery. It's like you have to go through the healing process twice. Hope you feel better soon.

I never had dislocated my knee before..But I did get my foot stuck in the blades of a lawn mower...the blades had cut of some of my skin off the side of my heel bone..I didn't get surgery after that..but the doctors gave me some cold cream and they wrapped up my foot..I felt reaaally discomfort....I hope your knee heals up pretty soon Root...Get well!

@Numarabir1 I am still in pain, my knee seems to be loose. My knee is very swollen right now, 3 times the size of my other knee, even my toes are swollen. With that said, the pain is much better than yesterday.
I don't think anyone could blame you for screaming like that dislocating anything, especially ones knee, is tremendously painful. Seems to me you should start marking your calender and on Mother's Day weekend just lock yourself in doors. I wish you the best and hope you feel better soon, take it easy until then.

I personally have never dislocated anything but my friend last year did when we were doing our Women's Ensemble Pop show and she was doing acartwheel into the splits and ended up dislocating it
