Ahmadi issue was handled awkwardly by so called ulema. They created enmity among brothers. They were supposed to honor their viewpoint. Hence new sect. Sects following is SHIRK as per:

"Turn towards Him and be dutiful to Him; be firm in devotion, and do not become MUSHRIKEEN who created rifts in their order and are divided into sects, with each group exulting in what it has". 30:31-32

If Quran was followed we will not be divided as sunnis, shias, wahabi,barelvi etc leaving alone Ahmadis.

Thanks for the post mortem Mr Ghamidi. You have done a great service in explaining the back ground and how sufism influenced these episodes. Strange thing is Bahai and Rashad Khalifa and Mirza all swear to be messengers of Allah but their core messages don't match with each other!!!

It seems that Ghamdi sb himself has not properly studied the work of Maulana Abul Hassan Ali Nadvi praised by him because Maulana's approach is quite opposite. Ghamdi sb's approach is that Mirza was a careless sufi who made public the sectets of Sufia. Had Maulana been alive today, he would have been amused by this approach. I cannot believe that Ghamdi sb can be that superficial, perhaps Ahmadiat is not his topic.
