  • Long live Alice Cooper, one of the last true rockers.

  • Manson can't count or he's completely stoned.Probably both.

  • buchAREST 2007

  • Yeah, But the Crutch doesn't make any sense ? ... at least when Gene Simmons Spits up fake blood it looks cool !

  • @Ozdeetwisted that's kinda the point - during School Out, he throws balloon everywhere and pops them with a cane, I saw him once put a sock over his head, he has a kind of "Fuck it, why not?" attitude, which is pretty cool, you never what you're gonna get from seeing Alice live

  • Anyone once quit watching when Manson came out?

  • Why the fuck are ya complaining about Manson! Not a Alice fan, more of a Manson fan, but to me they did great! Gosh stop fucking complaining and enjoy the awesome video! Ughh people this days -__-*

  • wassup with the crutches

  • @hicast1 It's part of the act.

  • Any1 notice that AC still looks good @ 61-62 yrs old, but MM looks like crap?

  • Saying Manson is a straight Cooper rip-off is like saying every Metal guitarist is a straight Tony Iommi rip-off; stupid.

Manson acknowledges his influences and is trying to keep shock rock alive. Manson has taken shock rock to a new level as it is much harder to shock people now days than in the 70s (as Cooper has said himself).

Again, you can see the influence of Cooper on Manson, but it does not change that Manson is one-of-a-kind; a true great who will not be forgotten.

  • @Am0kRun He's not a rip-off of Alice. He's Alice taken to a different extreme. Kind of like WASP was influenced by AC, and their shows were extreme.

  • @Supervillain725 that's basically what I said.

  • @Am0kRun I know. I'm just ripping you off like MM did AC. LOL

  • I don't hear Manson at all.

  • im christian and LOOOVE Alice but i cannot stand Marylin he culd just die rite there on stage for all i care!

  • manson and his super hero

  • alice is god and every word, what he says is right and the law

  • Manson tried:)

  • Manson ruined the song.

  • Fascinating to see them together. Of course, we all know that Alice is Marylin's Father. He could not really compete with Alice on stage.

I love them both, but Alice is the original.

  • Like them both...

*HATE* to say this but Manson was a disappointment. Christ, if you're going to make an appearance, learn the fucking song. When the breaks are, and the right wording at the right moment.

    MEH.

    Still cool though.

  • @toriinprogress It was a spontaneous appearance...

  • han puesto el grito en el cielo

  • Alice Cooper did great.............Manson "not so much"

  • lol, manson doesn't know when to come in

  • Alice Cooper looks like a freakin' supermodel compared to Marilyn Manson, what an ugly fuck Manson is.

  • Two icons together!!!!!

  • Damn, Alice is 21 years older and he looks so much better than Manson! :D

  • @VitekSprytek how can he possibly be 21 years older if he's only 18? xXD

  • @c0d3x001 A good one!

  • MANSON FUCKING ROCKS! I LOVE MANSON HES THE SHIIITTTTTTTT ....whats wrong with his name and the stuff he does?? nothing..if u dnt like it then dont watch nor listen to his music simple as tht. besides everything he wears and does is about being yourself and not being afraid to be yourself his stage perfoemances are the shit as well. hes def a legend in rock n roll by far!

  • i like marilyn manson but like Mr.Cooper said "he wears make up and uses a womans name; how original"

  • allot of people forget that these people are entertainers !!!! so all the gossip of what they do in their free time, how they thing, how they act,.... does not exist on stage !!!!!

On stage they do what they have to do, to make your gig be one of the best you have ever seen !

  • I love them both, but I find it hilarious that two old(ish) gys are singing "I'm eighteen!!!"

  • @xxxchaotixxx Well it'll be " I'm Eighty "soon :D

  • I think it's funny that Marilyn Manson didn't know how long the solo was so he kept trying to sing and then he stopped. lol Either way I love that he performed with Alice Cooper!

  • I like how Alice still sounds amazing, and even though I am a fan of Manson and he used to have great live performances he ALREADY can't sing anymore.

  • i only like the coop i cant fucking stand manson any more

  • manson esta como una puuuta foca :@

  • im christain il like them both..just because mason is anti christian does not mean you are ... if you buy a car from a japanese guy are you japanese? but yah this sucks

  • im christain il like them both..just because mason is anti christian does not mean you are ... if you buy a car from a japanese guy are you japanese?

  • alice cooper is great but wtf is marilyn shitson doing here

  • @bcsk8ter i know hes horseshit

  • @disposableteens220

yeah that weird mother fucker doesnt deserve to share the same stage as the legend alice cooper

  • @bcsk8ter ya and he has got the most shitest voice ever period AND to sing with alice

  • @disposableteens220

yeah seriously. not only does his voice suck, hes just a fuckin freak

  • @bcsk8ter very true like when i was a fan a while ago in the book he smoked bones

  • @disposableteens220

how the fuck do you smoke bones? lol

  • @bcsk8ter hahah i have no clue

  • @disposableteens220

weird mother fucker, and he took out his ribs so he can suck himself off

  • @bcsk8ter hah i know

  • @disposableteens220 wheres the fuckin proof? it's all rumours...

  • @falaputo read his book man

  • @disposableteens220 your such an idiot, he never removed any ribs. people made that rumor up after an early concert where a girl was dressed like him singing and marilyn came out and started sucking on a fake dick, thus making it seem like he was blowing himself.

  • @ninjaturtle7861 dude shut up im not the one who said he removed them dip shit

  • Alice Cooper > Marilyn Manson

  • it's not the same mentality at all

Alice Cooper is a Christian while Manson is anti-christian....

I thought that Cooper played with Manson only in order to recuperate Manson's fans

Even that Cooper, in an previous interview, criticized Manson by saying "I'm Christian and I'm sitting there going, 'How dare you tear up the bible on stage?' He even pissed me off."

  • @romain1993 He was just saying how hard it is to shock audiences today, but what Manson did things that even shocked Alice (the godfather of shock rock.)

  • @LuneyTune72 He said also "I figured anybody that creative would go out of his way not to look like Alice Cooper. To name yourself Marilyn Manson -- that's like coming out with a band that looks like KISS and calling yourself 'Smooch."

  • @LuneyTune72 - cuz manson is about tearing apart faith- while cooper recognizes good and evil and chooses good---- manson is just about chaos while cooper has meaning and purpose

  • Well, manson knew alice was christian and did it anyway, so I think it was more of a disrespect to alice if anything

  • @romain1993

No Alice is not a xistian. He was a devastating drunk who married a large-boobed, born again xstian, to escape his drunkeness. And, also the large boobs...

He says these things to make his wife happy. He is a member of our Church.

  • @Paganguy1 bullshit

  • @Paganguy1 lucky i wuld LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUV to no Alice Cooper

  • @romain1993

I don't really think Manson is against Christians, but i think that he is against Christian pepole who are taking advantage of their religion.

  • @mkolaj in all cases, his provocations touch every Christians

  • @romain1993 I'm Christian, and his actions bugged me at 1st, but then I realized that it was all an act.

  • i was there :X:X:X:X fu(kin' amaziiinnnnnnngggggggggggg

  • alice ozzy and manson!!! i love them !

  • @Diehardslashfan HELL YA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow has there EVER been a better perfomance

  • marilyn manson sucked on this one,,, chester bennington is better than manson,,,,

  • Does anyone else find a forty-something year old singing about being eighteen while waving a crutch in the air funny? (He is still a good singer, as far as I can tell, I don't usualy listen to him.)

  • @serp3n1 Actually he was 60 when this was recorded.

  • @LuneyTune72 daaaaamn that nigga too old lol

  • It has been released in 1970. So Alice was actually 22 years old.

  • @LuneyTune72 Yeah but don't forget that Manson was around forty.

  • @serp3n1 although i love them both, you are right, it's pretty amusing :P

  • @serp3n1 He still gets a good pop from the crowd when he does it tho.

  • Alice doesn't look like he is 18!

  • This is from BesftFest 2007 from Bucharest, Alice Cooper concert was before Manson, then Alice came on stage and sing Sweet Dreams with Manson.

    That ROCK!!!!!

  • Kinda cool, a bit fucked up, but good enough to add to my collection.

  • is this the marilyn manson band?

  • @Skywalker327 No it's Alice Cooper's, Manson just made either a guest appearance or was an opening act...I think it was just a guest appearance. Alice has done this for Manson too at his concerts.

  • @LuneyTune72 that's awesome. thanks for filling me in.

  • @LuneyTune72

Alice asked Manson if he wanted to do a song with him Manson backed out but then on the way to his show(or something like that) half made up he decided "when am I going to get another shot?" so he ran up and was given a mic, later Alice came to Mansons' dressing room wearing a blood T-shirt and said in his Alice voice "expect me to do the same to you" which leads to the sweet dreams performance.

  • They are so great together. Figures, my two biggist idols come together in duet and sound amazing :)

  • Alice is 62 and he still makes grrreat music! hope he makes at least another 200 records!! ;D

  • I love this song

  • lol alice was being real nice to marilyn. he/she sounds so bad in this vid lol

  • Idiot guitar player stepping on Alice's part not once but twice. I think someone needs to realize they are not the star of the show.

  • rofl no offense but marylin looks like a cheap bitch besides alice xD is it just me or does he (marylin) seems shy next to alice :o

  • I love them ! Alice Cooper and Manson are legends <3

  • i love alice cooper and marylin manson... this live rocks !!

  • 18?really?...more like 50

  • manson sucks.

    cooper rocks!

alice shoulda kicked his ass on stage!

  • @proaxe5150 dude, U SUCK!!!!

  • ta a cara da gretchen

  • It appeared Marilyn was in unfamiliar grounds there for a spell (when trying to sing over the guitar solo), but hey, he wound-up pulling it all together in the end ... nice job! Alice and Marilyn, those chicks rock!

  • whoa my two favorite singers together whats better than this??

  • Comment removed

  • Manson and Cooper is the best thing!

  • dude i love manson and cooper. its pretty great seeing them on stage at the same time.

  • goin 2 c mr cooper in 4 dayz!!!

  • Fucking bullshit but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

  • quit looking for trouble

  • @slashbucketheadlover Hahahahaha.....that is the funniest thing I have heard all day. Are you serious?

  • The 2 greatest shock rockers of all time performing together...AMAZING

  • @Zando24 yeah :p !

  • @Zando24 u forgot rob zombie. hes not really shock rock but hes in that genre of music.

  • @ninjaturtle7861 True, rob zombie is awesome no doubt, but I just said Cooper and Manson because they were both so controversial. The most shocking thing Zombie did was probably remake Halloween lol

  • Alice fucking rocks, I love it when he was wasted in the seventies, watching I'm Eighteen and he's improv-ing lyrics. And Under My Wheels, he's stroking the microphone stand was hilarious. I love that sound from the seventies, like that band line up was ridiculously tight. I actually like them more than this line up here, and current incarnations there of.

  • Marylin Manson sings this song good but its hard to hear Alice

  • wow! theres a lot of mini wars going on here. id deffinatly say im more for alice as ive followed his albums since pretties for you through to his most recent and i think their amazing but im also glad there have been guys like manson doing a similar things for newer audiences. i love mansons early stuff most but think both artists have done good stuff. id rather hear them than most of the crappy predictable music on the channels at the moment.

  • Do you mean you followed Alice from 1969 to today?

  • i wish-sadly no but i mean im open minded enough to know theres more to the bands music than "poison" unlike so many people my age that i talk to. ive seen alice live but ive never seen the alice cooper group live. i remember talking to you aaaaagges ago on a live vid of "reflected"

as for manson, my dad introduced me to that and think their first album holds most appeal for me. he seemed to care less what people thought and tried to shock more but now hes more acceptable to the masses i guess.

  • Ahh, I was thinking "Alice had no followers up until like 71 or 72." I love all of Alice's albums too, it is sad that Alice's music doesn't get the respect it deserves but I like it that way cus if everyone liked Alice then I'd have to deal with people claiming they were bigger fans than I was! hahahaha

  • i think the best i can do is say alice cooper was the first music i ever listened to in my life on day one. my parents played "dead babies" to me to drown out my crying-i love my parents theyre great! :D

i agree it doesnt get the respect it deserves & the talents of the original band even before ezrin came along cant be denied. its easy to see youre a proper fan and who the real alice fans are. ive actually asked people to name 5 songs for me and they couldnt name 3-its good meeting proper fans

  • I know how you feel about not meeting a lot of "true Alice fans." I myself have everything the man has ever done (over 2000 tracks). I have everything he's done and everything everyone else in the original ACG ever did. I have tons of rare bootleg concerts, unreleased tracks (some never released in trading groups), some stuff only Ren had except for a select few he shared with, demo tapes, etc. Me and HeyStoopid91 are Alice's biggest fans!

  • that sounds amazing. i recall seeing a websit doing all these bootlegs and alice cooper concerts recorded and that which looked good. ive always wanted to hear a good qualitity version of "roses on white lace" live. ive seen a camera recorded version on youtube.

I like his song with aventasia. thats pretty good too. demos and the more beatles esque recordings from before pretties for you. its great how much stuff you can find on certain artists

  • Are you talking to me? My name is under yours, if so then you do realize you are talking to the person who posted this video right? The one who is defending Alice? Anyways no you're wrong Alice didn't create it, it was around long before the band started. He was probably the first to bring it to America. Search for Screaming Lord Sutch and Arthur Brown, they did Shock Rock before Alice. Know who you're messing with, I know everything about Alice's history so FUCK OFF!

  • Also just to let you know, you're an idiot.

  • Excuse me? No he has never said that. He did inspire some of the biggest names in metal, Glen Buxton (the original Alice Cooper guitarist) inspired Randy Rhoads to play guitar...Alice may claim he got the ball rolling on shock rock. Also Alice is one of the nicest rock stars out there.

  • if you haven't seen the movie "metal:a headbanger's journey" then watch it. and listen to what alice cooper says there

  • I have and still don't change my mind.

  • well on an interview he did say that his band was the first ever to be called heavy metal

  • He may have said "one of the first" cus that is true. The Alice Cooper band was the band that took rock n roll into a darker direction. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Alice Cooper really took rock to a new level...metal. They were much more evil than typical rock music of that time. Think about it, it was in 1971 that Alice started getting killed on stage. He revolutionized everything that you see today, he is very modest trust me. He's allowed to complement himself once in a while.

  • umm yeah i agree alice cooper did help the metal build up but he did say they were the first ones to be referred to as Heavy Metal. watch "Metal: a headbangers journey" alice says it himself.

oh and actually sabbath came up with the same sound cause of iomme's E string being tuned down to D

  • Yes I know about Tony Iommi's string tuning cus of his fingers (I'm a rock guitarist). Also I don't really care if Alice said they were the first, who know if he was? Alice is not someone to brag, and he should brag cus he did so much to change music.

  • yeah i know about tony's fingers.

and on that movie it sounded like alice was bragging a bit.

I think he did more to the look of metal than the sound

  • Yes it was mostly the image but the lyrics they used were also a huge change. For example "Dead Babies" (although it's about child abuse the band knew it would strike controversy), "I Love The Dead," "Raped and Freezin'," etc. The band basically gave a big middle finger to the media. Also like I said many metal players were inspired by Alice Cooper, not just by image but also by his message, which is it what inspired their music. Believe it.

  • Aren't they (especially Alice Cooper) a little too old to sing a song like this?

  • @MaryMiscarriage

No and what would make you say such a dumb thing?

  • alice coopers cool, marilyn manson is a fag.

  • Alice cooper rocks, marilyn manson sucks

  • alice is old but u gotta admit for how old he is he is still good

  • heee´s eightyyyyy

  • lol, made me laugh.

  • i was at the psycho drama tour but the fagget marilyn manson wasnt there

  • lucky

  • I'm sorry but I think that Marilyn's destroying this song! :O No offense! Alice Cooper rocks!!!

  • Sorry but you're a dumbass, Alice is doing great. He sings a bit differently because of age but who cares? Would you rather have it that old rock stars disappear off the earth cus they're old and can't sing as well as they did when they were kids? I don't think anyone in their right mind would! What else are we going to listen to? The 10 (20 tops) good or decent new bands? FUCK NO!

  • I agree with you, that Alice does it great and ofcourse, he sings differently but do you expect something else from a 61 year old man who's been in this business for 40 years? But it is good that people has different opinions though! :) What a boring world if everyone had the same opinions about everything! :O

  • I hardly think that not liking a degraded version of the song makes me a dumbass.

You said it yourself, "He sings a bit differently because of age".

To me, that ruins the song. If I were him I'd have enough respect for the music to know when I was too old to show it the respect it deserves.

And yes, I could care less about the rock stars when they no longer rock. It's not about them, it's about the music.

And for what I listen to? Older live versions from him :)

  • Ok whatever you could say that about any job that if your too old you should just give up and retire cus you can't work as good as you did when you were in your 20s and 30s. I don't know from what time period you consider Alice to have lost it but to me he is as good today as he was back then, change in age or not. It takes a lot of work to do what he does, he performed on stage after breaking a rib, he's done it all, a true professional unlike Axle Rose who like leaves the stage when feels it.

  • A lot of jobs you would/will get fired if you get too senile to complete your work.

Look, alice is still alot better than most of the talentless hacks out there right now, but he has fallen below the level of music he used to make. Plain and simple, he just CANNOT perform as well as he used to. It's nothing personal against him, he's still out there doing what he loves, but just doing what you love is not enough. Plenty of shitty bands who cant sing are doing what they love.

  • So don't go, and shut up about those of us that want to go.

  • Yes but he still performs great in my opinion and I'm very picky. Alice may not be flawless but he definitely can keep the crowd alive, which is very hard especially with how many people he plays to.

  • dude ozzy osbourne is 60 and sings perfectly

  • Ozzy's voice is shot, and it's been pretty dodgy since the beginning of his career. Butler and Iommi had to cancel a lot of their tour dates with him because they never knew what he was going to sound like that day.

  • I'm in the same opinion..

Marilyn should use his voice, not just shouting...

    But Alice is perfect! :)

  • Sing It, Alice!!!

  • amazing

  • they are the father and the son of shock rock! ily alice and marilyn <3<3

  • shock rock?

cool term, i always just called it alt. rock

  • Alternative Rock is a completely different genre. Alt. Rock is like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Papa Roach, Audioslave, Muse, etc.

  • ohh, ok , thanks for the clarification

  • the godfather and the godson of shock rock! perfect combination for alice and marilyn and great song too <3 i luv 'em both <3<3 5/5

  • Comment removed

  • Marilyn! Ah ! x)

this is sucha great combo .

  • Note to artists: If you're doing a collobo, be sure both parties know when/what to sing. Manson butchered the end of this song

  • I love Alice but I think Manson's voice is better for this song.

  • alice cooper isa rock idol

  • well, i dont like much MM, alice for me is better, but is good see this!

  • as talented as MM is theres no getting around the fact that hes a huge Cooper Rip off

  • you know...that might be cause one of mansons biggest influences was alice cooper....just a thought

  • Amazing. Manson is a God; ALice is the King.

  • not my friend alice is God and the Godness! manson is maybe the king

  • Great but in the end, it gets a bit "Who can sing loudest" :P
