5 years ago when the X360/PS3 came, on the PC Windows XP was more general. Now I can with the same Xbox play Battlefield 3, while the PC that is buyed 5 years ago, needed to be upgraded because it has XP.

@FrozenAtrox True, DICE focused more about the gameplay then the graphics, still i have the feeling that the maps are way larger in Battlefield 2 then Battlefield 3.

@Clapboardstudio I think the maps are about equal size, but DICE moved the waypoints closer to avoid having long walks like in BF2. Honestly as a lvl 9 veteran I really couldn't care less about map sizes, as long as the gameplay delivers. And IMO BF3 does that perfectly.

I can fucking see why they said to only use 64 bit OS and DX11 video cards. They are optimizing the shit out of the game to take advantage of DX11 cards to full capabilities and to push Multi-core processors usage unlike most PC games today. This game is going to be killer.
