  • Thanks for the video... I just got done installing a 10-8 Performance rear sight on my Colt 1991... it went well(just took a while.. it was quite over sized compared to my slide) and looks great, just need the paint the visible parts of the angled side of the sight where it was filed to fit.

  • 2:22 I know someone who loves to hammer on things... I can only imagine you face that on a daily basis. Excellent video, I hope it saves you repairing the work of the hammerers out there.

    Its easy to install but how do I know its aligned right? Yes I can take it to the range but if its off I don't want to do "gunsmithing" at the range. Is there a tool that I can use to make sure the sight is aligned right? Thank you sir for all your products and videos! Keep them coming!!

  • @emurccmailliw Sure, what we use here at the shop is the Sightmark Bore Sight. On our web store it's part number 566-023. It works with any caliber and attaches to the end of the barrel with a magnet and is our go-to tool for quick, initial sight installs.
