If there's one thing I will always hate, it's eels. I try to return them to the water if they are caught by accident while fishing, but I really would rather never see one again. Eels, snakes and leeches. Three things I could do without.

I'm kind of confused why you don't just feed them by throwing handfuls of feed in the water.

@aak711 Not at all - they are not electric eels. They feel amazing - like Velvet. And when they bend they wrinkle.

@mrerrorpro They are at Pukaha Mt Bruce in the Wairarapa - which is a wildlife centre. They feed them every day from a feeding platform at 1pm.

@zephspacer Lols...these eels aren't dangerous...humans have killed tens of millions of eels but I've yet to hear of and or read about a fatal long finned (what these eels are) eel attack
