This song "Try Again" (while undoubtedly a masterpiece melodiously and lyrically) coupled with "De More The Merrier" (this particular song lacking in quality to retain the calypso crown for The Mighty Sparrow) did not have enough muscle to rival The Mighty Chalkdust with his "Kaiso Sick In The Hospital" and "Misconceptions" rendition; two bombshells leaving all opponents in the dust in the 1993 Dimanche Gras Calypso Monarch competition in Trinidad & Tobago. Chalkie is still alive, still singing and sounding great. He was in 2008 Dimanche Gras competition. I hope his spirit will live on and continue to always be a positive influence on Kaiso.
