lol, 1987, over my best friends apartment. I made Lion-O jump off the top rope (side of the bed) and dropkick MumRa who my buddy was holding in his hand on the floor. Mum-Ra broke into about 9 pieces. After his initial disgust and running to his mother (who could care less) he returned back to the room and looked at the broken pieces and WE LAUGHED OUR ASSES OFF.

thundercats were a not so far second for me as a child i was always into he-man i remember on day i hid my he-man sword one day and took it to school when i got there i was running around yelling at the top of my lungs i have the power. later that day my mom got the call from school about what happened that day and she broke that sword on my back side. LOL the good ol times.

oh the epic battles back then,gi joe against the steroid abusing he man,the thundercats against the lightning hawks (always bird against cat),,,,,,some of those wars took place not over the course of a few hours no but 2 ,3 and 4 days long!!!!!

Thundercats were not merely a cartoon or toy. To me as a child the Thundercats were a way of life. I worshiped Panthro as my personal savior, modeling my Lord Panthro I too, sported a bald head, studded suspenders, and of course defended my religion and god with a pair of fisted nunchucks.

I miss the 80's.
