  • i hate when the people i'm dissecting start singing then leave right as i'm about to cut into them. teasing bastards

  • Today, he no longer has his awesome hair :(

  • This always happens to me the corpse is there one minute then poof its gone

  • @Flameman323 same

  • HIS FUCKING VOICE... I have such a respect when they can be gritty, but so soft and pretty the next second. Adam Gontier is one of the best at that as well.

  • 2:45 so creepy lol

  • love this song love it because it helped me threw depression

  • i know better bands...

  • Ten thousand comments about if they're under the label christian or not. COOL STORY. listen to the music. nuff said.

  • Zach Galifianakis?

  • :megusta:

  • I love his voice. <3

  • the band is christian?

  • @JOELMOSO Yes they are

  • @9akatsuki9rebirth9 They are awesome!! I respect your opinon, but I dont agree!! God bless!! :)

  • Is it just me or does the lead singer not sound just like jacoby Shaddix of papa roach

  • Oooooooor we can ignore religion and focus on the fact that The Classic Crime ROCKS. :)

  • they are christian and do church tours...but not a christian band. I've met them and discussed it.

  • "Everyone must dance the dance of death" Thumbs up if you understand and agree... if not... reverse the gibberish at the beginning of the song ;-)

Great band btw... I think for the Christian/non Christian discussion it's the same case as with Emery...

  • to all who are arguing about whether The Classic Crime is a Christian Band or not, it really depends on how you interpret the lyrics. In my opinion, they are a Christian Band but it really depends on what the lyrics mean to you. :)

  • I like his beard.

  • best song ever!! :D

  • His beard is entirely too straight..

  • i love this song! and the video totally deserves more views! :)

  • Im still addicted to this song 2011<3

  • I first saw them when they opened up for Emery/Anberlin five years ago - Easily the best opening act I've ever seen. They opened with "The Fight", followed with "Blisters & Coffee" and the whole place went nuts. One of the best bands I've ever seen live. What's even better is that their lyrics are Godly.

  • These guys are so underrated. Love this band!

  • 1:33 a hammer as a surgery tool :D

  • @TristanXOGuitar he uses that to proudly neglict organs :)

  • <3 robbie's head banging:)

  • accidentally finding good music makes life special

  • I've been living on this song for a week. Love it!!!

  • Gotta love seein hometown boys killin it

  • if you read their bio on wikipedia, they're not a Christian band.

  • What does abracadavers mean?

  • @youreigngod95 It's a play on words. A cadaver is a dead body, usually referred to as such when it's in a morgue getting an autopsy (reason why music video is in a morgue). And abracadabra - well, we all know what that is. Just a play on words.

  • i Lovee Thiss Sonnqq ((:

    REplayyy Replayy

  • An Anthem for the Abracadavers (The Resurrected)...

  • these guys need to be a hell of a lot more famous

  • Over a year ago, I remembe turning on my tv to this random christian music channel, and by chance, seeing only the last forty or fifty seconds of this music video. I've been in love with everything by this band ever since.

  • @eleventhousandfour Was it JCTV? Because if so, that's how I heard about The Classic Crime, and this song, and I've loved them ever since!

  • @iRawrAtMonster I think it was actually. I don't really watch the channel, I just flipped to it one day and by chance it was when this song was on.

  • @eleventhousandfour Haha, I love JCTV, and I have heard about a ton of really great bands that way. You ought to watch it sometime, maybe you'll find more songs like Abracadavers that you like. :)

  • check out my vocal cover of Comatose by Skillet!

  • Ridiculously amazing band. Don't care if their a Christain band, absoultely good.

  • deserves more views

  • great song to rock out to while playing WoW

  • @xbox360crazed The biggest problem with Christian bands for the most part is the fact they are politicians, campaigning to recycled melodies, forgetting meaning of music and only remembering purpose of lyrics. Of course I am not saying it's a bad thing to have good lyrics, but we shouldn't listen to music for the lyrics. That would be like looking at paintings for the frames that accompany them, and not the art itself.

  • @MicahMischief

But isn't poetry art if it's done correctly? This opinion is completely subjective.

  • @Zeppelynne I agree completely, unfortunely I was really quite sleepy when I wrote that.. and I should have drawn some lines. Poetic lyrics to good music is completion, but what I was talking about is listening to bad music because the lyrics may mention Jesus. CCM music has fallen to whole new depths of generic, hearing some of songs I find it sad how unoriginal it is.

  • this band saved my life

  • I have listened to this song for hours...and hours...and hours on end...and I am still not tired of it... :))

  • I hate advertisements.

  • ..."Everyone must dance the dance of death"....

1st ten seconds of the song..... that's what is being said.. in reverse

  • @Rocco1123 we all share the same fate dying's inevitable just choose the place you would like your soul to spend all eternity :)

  • @Rocco1123 Holy shit man that's crazy O.o

  • I love this song, in the end we are all human no matter what race, religion, creed or sexual orientation we are. Because in reality we are all capable of malevolence or benevolence we all feel pain and pleasure. We may lable ourselves with our nationality and religion but we should not forget we are all brothers and sisters of this world. One Earth, one human race.

  • @APd123456 people usually care about the "religious" part of people because they can't admit people they see hear etc on tv not everybody is so they make a fake fairy-tale world of hatred towards anybody who doesn't live their life style. We're all still human but try telling that to the anti-Christian people anti-religious anti-color anti whatever..their hypocrites.

The media has brainwashed the masses into believing a lie..the world buys it as a life of anybody of that life style

  • are there...chunks of meat...on the cymbals?

  • Dear Vevo, Let me start by sayin get your corporate asses off youtube! Ever since these big companies started paying off youtube so they could post their friggin videos we can't post ours. We are flagged for infringement evry time we include a song we like in ourvideos.

This is YOUtube, the place where we can post OUR videos. If we wanted to listen to music from you wedgo to your damn website.

To people who want greedy corporates gone thumbs up and copy and paste this on Vevo.

  • epic fail at putting a fake beard on an already bearded man -_-

  • I love The Classic Crime... but this video's weird :P

  • What IS Vevo anyway? Get your own website!

  • Christianity disgusts me.

  • @escapethemikkel As much as you have the right to that opinion, I think you would do well to learn some respect for what other people believe, even if you personally find it unappealing. Posting hateful comments, especially with no real prompting or reason for doing so, does nothing but make your opinion look shallow.

  • @escapethemikkel Your another person who disses what you don't understand good job wasting your life commenting on this. :)

  • @owndbyu Please, go back to your church and enjoy the anal rape, faggot.

  • @escapethemikkel That's pretty immature to say. How bout ya clean up your mouth a little eh?

  • @bigsgamer Please, go back to your church and enjoy the anal rape, faggot.

  • @escapethemikkel Very delayed response, haven't had time to deal with trolls and unhappy people who hate life, but I seriously didn't know they had anal rape at my church... Did you go there and experience it yourself? Until you have gone to a church, any church, not just mine, don't say rude things about them when you have NO CLUE what happens there. All the people in my church are people who have never touched me or hurt me in any way. So just go whine about how bad your life is to yourself.

  • @bigsgamer Your awesome, i love you.

  • @escapethemikkel Love you too random troll who I don't know and who hated me 2 weeks ago but now loves me.

  • @bigsgamer Thanks

  • @escapethemikkel Your welcome, I guess

  • @escapethemikkel Why?Have you studied it for years and years and years to understand all the info? Are you an expert about Christianity(meaning everything)?

It's your opinion but I'm just sayin this..us Christians aren't the same as you may think(I don't know if that's really what your saying). People do follow things differently than you do and if you are..honestly(not being judgmental here) but that is a control freak.

It's your opinion so believe what you want

  • @escapethemikkel then go find something else.. ya dont gotta shoot down what other people like just sayin

  • @escapethemikkel I cannot believe how much of a man you are. Insulting people let alone religion over the internet, must feel real big eh? Good job wasting your life commenting on this again. :)

  • @owndbyu No problem, i'm insulting religions everywhere i go, not only on the internet. Good job living the lie called religion, just to give your sad little life some hope <3.

  • @escapethemikkel Mikkel, Mikkel, Mikkel... If my life were sad i would be living like you amirite? Good chat buddy. :)

  • @owndbyu Just go home and play with your virginity, please <3.

  • @escapethemikkel You have beat me this time Mr. Troll... But next time we meet...

  • I found these guys by clicking on a Anberlin Mix, and then fell in love with them (:

  • -_- Wow Usher killed my day, thanks alot Vevo...

  • dear VEVO, what Yetimen1 said...

  • Amaaaaaaazing song

  • dear VEVO, I don't want to see the face of any annoying pop artist when I'm listening to good music, so please do away with your annoying ads of the talentless pop artists. please,

  • @Yetimen1 This is a good band.

  • @blackjack9165 Yes, I agree there, I just don't like see Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry next to a good band, (which I no longer do thanks to Ad Block Plus)

  • i've just got into this band, and i can already say they're are AWESOME

  • after like a year and 6mnths i watched this vid again, that was great :'3

  • ugghhh! I hate these pop-tart things. but I <3 the song!!

  • nobody cares what you'd do with a thousand poptarts.

    thank you vevo.

  • i agree with MrSabanija The Crying mime is a jerk

  • Christian music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheCryingMime JERK !!!

  • classic christian jams, music with an agenda:

    1. intelligent design

    2. we're all the same under "god"

woohoo, we're like lemmings! good song though lol.

  • dude this guy ggot such an awsome voice

    and one awsome video

    awsome

  • hey the name of the music video is pretty cool

  • this is christian music?????

  • Yes, it is.

  • this song is soo GROOVY!

  • i think christian bands always have the best lyrics no matter what style of music

  • eh? That can't be, unless its just pure laziness on the 'other' end.

  • @xbox360crazed thats because your probably a christian....

  • @xbox360crazed They aren't a Christian band....

  • @Cranfillr yes they are, they have said it

  • @JROCKminnesotaFL "We believe faith is personal, and can be only held by an individual person. To entitle a group 'Christian' would be to assume that the group has a collective soul, or at least individual souls tied to a solid collective belief. Not everyone in our band is decidedly set in their faith, and we respect that."

I wouldn't call this them claiming to be a Christian band.

  • @xbox360crazed If you read their bio on wikipedia or look up their genre on itunes, they're not a Christian band. You're right though, this song has great lyrics :)

  • @xbox360crazed they're not a christian band....

  • @gitghetto ya they are

  • @nephets64 Quoted from wikipedia:

"Some fans have assumed that The Classic Crime is a Christian band due to being signed on to Tooth & Nail Records .... However, The Classic Crime does not label themselves a "Christian" band."

    They're not a christian band.

  • @gitghetto but it is a band of christian guys; you are right tho

  • @nephets64 all the guys in dragonforce are christian, they're not a christian band. and many would argue they don't write good lyrics.

  • I love watching music videos and seeing all the ridiculous places they decide to stick the drum set...

  • Abracadavers

abra itself can mean 'to open' [? or to reveal?] so I guess 'opened/to open corpses?'

  • I guess that is a pun. abracadabra and cadavers... got it?

  • what does he say at :55 through 1:07?

  • "We're all the same: made of hair and bones and water and blood cells..."

  • i <3 this song but i dont understand this at all.....= /

  • We spend to much time studying ourselves. That is the main idea. Get it now?

  • then what does abrascadaver mean?...i know a cadaver is a dead body...and i can see how it would rel8 to the video, but how does that rel8 to the POINT of the video?!

  • It's Christian music.

"It seems we're beautifully made and designed

But it's a shame we can be so blind "

    - God created us. We neglect Him.

  • 3:03 best guitar spin ever

  • they r one of my favorite bands i saw them at alive this year they were way tight

  • that's a pathologist. a cadaver is a name for a dead body. abracadavers is like abracadabra in magic thats why he's dressed in a tux, like a magician :)

  • I love this song and video funny thing is I'm planning on becoming a Pathologist.

  • The person that in charge of an autopsy is a coroner or a medical examiner... but most coroners and m.e. 's are forensic pathologists,so in that perspective you are correct.

Pathologists test for, diagnose, and research diseases in living humans by testing bodily fluids and biopsies

  • Did you just guess that or you heard it from somewhere.

  • Abracadvers are people who preform a biopsy on dead people.

  • i don't know if it's an actual word but my guess on it was that it is a mix of "abracadabra" and "cadaver"

  • Probably one of the best songs on this cd by far.

  • this is awesome!

  • GO JESUS

    GOD BLESS

  • wat genre is this

    just curious

  • kick ass

  • it's not like everything good necessarily has to be christian, and with that being said, not everything christian should be classified as good. they are a good band with a good message. i think you should listen to bands you enjoy, and bands should leave religion out of music. it's like separating church and state.

  • I agree with you completely but I would also like to say that every song and every band has a message and a story to tell. This one happens to be about the design and character of man and how we refuse to see how amazing our creation is. And i strongly believe that is a message everyone needs to hear

  • Great point, "The Classic Crime" never classifies themselves "Christian Rock", it's just good music with a good meaning behind the words. I personally am athiest, but still listen to bands like "Red", which does happen to be christian rock. Good music is good music... Can't be helped...

  • And TFK/Pillar....

  • Thousand Foot Krutch is a great band that has covered a lot of ground with their music, ranging from Linkin Parke-esque Rapcore to an Alternative Metal feel in their music. Haven't really heard much of PiLLaR though, but their new album "Confessions", out the 22nd, sounds great...

  • but some bands can play awesome music and you hear anything about there religion once or twice in there entire album.

Look at Underoath. They've gotta be the most christian band i listen to and they have like 1 song about god. Other then that, they have very few times where they sing about god. Especially there newer songs.

  • they actually have like 3 or 4 songs about god but I agree religion shouldn't at all be what makes a song "awesome"

  • In a way. Personally i believe religion can deeply touch people depending if they are that religion or not. I think it plays a vital piece.

  • well I guess I can't see through that perspective because I'm not religious, but the song has to be good musically not lyrically in my opinion which this song definitely is and underoath

  • Good video, christian or not, they were on tvu music vids so they probably just have a good message with no bad stuff and it isnt about god though but it doesnt mean that they have to be a "christian band" to be on tvu since apparently they are not a christian band.

  • they also never said that they are not christian

  • miryamstein777 has a good a point.

  • they said beautifully made and designed so yeah tey christian

  • I agree

  • this ROX!!! fosho

  • Oh that's right! I read about that but totally forgot about it.

  • Actually, if you were to read comments made by the band... They're not Christian.

    The Band themselves, that is.

There are Christians within the band, but they don't claim to be a Christian band, but a couple of Christians (And non-Christians) that make music.

  • What difference does it make if they're Christian or not? The DID sign on to a Christian label, and you see non-Christian bands signing onto labels such as the one The Classic Crime signed onto all the time, but that doesn't necessarily makes them a Christian band. I agree with mybandofme and A7XGroupie767. Just listen to the music. That's what bands do is make music for us to enjoy, not for us to critisize and bash on.

  • 3:05 OMG <333

  • i love this band. such a great voice. and the guitar is AWESOME!

  • 3:04 is a sick guitar thing.

its especially diffucult with an sg because of how the guitar strap is on those.

  • this band is the sickest ever!

  • this video makes me want to hug somebody with extreme joy, because i know a band can produce something truly unique and incredibly epic

  • agreed!!!!

  • Ok there christian. Can we just stop and listen to the music. x]

  • i agree with you gropie, i think people just get really excited when they find out the band is Christian. i do too because i find that these types of bands actually say something in thier lyrics than other secular bands.

  • i totally agree. it just sucks sometimes when you go to watch/listen to a video and the band is one of those where there's the "Christian or non-Christian" debate/question & almost EVERYONE is arguing about it. but, yeah, i like to find out a band is/has christians b/c their lyrics seem to sometimes have more meaning-to me, but that doesn't mean i'll stop listening to a band that isn't Christian-only if the lyrics are bad/vulgar.
