Life isn't a miracle. It's an accident. It happens so often that we're getting seriously overpopulated. The teenage girls in my hometown (and by teenage, I mean 14-17) are walking around pregnant whenever I return there, and soon there'll be walking around with more screaming little 'miracles', which'll just make the town more crowded and shitty cause they won't raise them right.

Sometimes, abortion IS the right choice. Not pleasant and nobody enjoys it, but it is best choice for some.

My mom cleans the hospital and the rooms and on occasions she finds notes that say that they flipped the switch to save money. On other occasions they will bring someone into the ER room and 3hours later my mom has to clean the room.

Humanity is defined by the species, not by the level of development of the species.

All developmental stages of a human being ( zygote, blastocyst, fetus, neonate, infant, toddler, child, adolescent, adult, middle age, old age) contain 23 pairs of chromosomes which are human. This is a scientific fact.

Fetus is a human being in his or her earlier stage of development. This is a scientific fact.

"Human being is a person" is a fact.

"Fetus is a person" is a fact.

If a person does not know for certain that his action is not killing another human being, he must accept the responsibility for doing so. Anyone who is willing to kill what may be human is, by his intention, willing to kill what is human. Consequently, the one who performs or consents to abortion inescapably assumes the guilt of voluntary homicide.

Can you (or anyone) explain to me how a fetus is similar to an actual human?

Imagine there's someone on a different planet, who's blind, deaf, dumb, anosmic, ect. That person has no connections to other human beings - no mother, father, brothers, sisters, friends, lovers, ect. However, that person is somehow causing pain and suffering to a real human being, who has intelligence and senses and connections with others.

Give me one good reason not to terminate the parasite.

You do realize that you just made the argument that these things are... worthy of empathy? If you look at a fetus and go "aw... what a cutey" there is something wrong with you.

There's not even an instinctual motivation for viewing a fetus as pleasant.

Actaully, yes it is. We view murder as a hole wrong, because if others are dying, it means that we might die. Also, in a tribalistic society (where our ancestors spend most of their time evolving their instincts) everyone you knew was family, so it makes sense to simply apply the "humans dying = bad" instinct, rather than the largely more complex "humans who I care about dying - bad"

Because we have sense with which we perceive the world, connections with others who we care for and receive care from in return, and, above all, awareness of our own existence.

I believe it come from mankinds instinct to keep population high but was only practiced among tribes, it wasnt considered wrong to kill off another tribe back then.(Worked well 20,000 years ago) but now it has evolved so to speak into morals and now after thousands of years it has become law and is considered wrong. Truth be told I dont think murder is that bad. People die everyday in Africa thanks to civil war anarchy and genocide and no pays attention until ten people in NYC die at gun point.

@carmoflo That; is one of my favorite passages in the bible. I've been blessed with two beautiful boys, one who went early to heaven, the other is still here but is special needs. I'm about to be blessed through adoption with a third. I could never take the life of a child. Abortion has to be the most horrific crime out there.
