  • 10:07 Ironic how Ms Brahms points out to Capt. Peacock on how women outlive men but good 'ol Peacock has outlived both the women.

  • "A gentleman wishes to try on a dress."

    "I'm free!"

  • 9:59 Miss Brahms's comment about "Women living longer than men" is cruelly ironic in that Captain Peacock and Mr. Rumbold are the only ones from this show still alive. Even Brahms and Mr. Lucas, the younger of the cast, are dead. RIP all of you, and thanks for the laughs.

  • "...They all say that." lol. Mr. Humphries, I love you!

  • Is it me, or does Mr Grainger sound Irish when he says "I don't want a glass o' water!!" at 20:10?

  • Quite odd that the two most senior staff are the only current survivors

  • At 9:48 I thought Captain Peacock said "the all superior" lol!

  • @frozentootsiepop That's about what he implied!!

  • @frozentootsiepop He said "Your superior", but it did indeed sound like "the all superior"

  • What's so off-putting and taboo about clip-on bow ties, I wonder? xDD

  • @frost3dcupcak3s You almost no commission so it's not really worth it from a sales point of view

  • @frost3dcupcak3s They look like crap. And like thesteve120 said, probably cost less than 1 pound, so they wouldn't make very much commission

  • @frost3dcupcak3s Because they were cheap, tastless and usually only worn by the poor or skinflints.

They were considered the worst fashion accessory ever.

  • AND THE HONOURABLE TEDDY!

  • IT'S LORD MELDRUM!

  • Excellent stuff!

    I love it!

  • I LOVE THEM ALL, MY FAVORITE CLASSIC SHOW

  • I just love the different colors Mrs. Slocombe

  • "a clip on bow tie?!" OL

  • @ 10:36 OMG! Those EYES!!

  • @ 13:21 Mrs. Slocombe's voice reminds me of Madeline Kahn in "History of the World Part 1" in Caesar's palace...'Get this sh**, I almost fell!"

  • Funny @1140

  • The two gentlemen customers acted as brothers in the 90s sitcom "you rang m'lord?"

  • @aan210834 Yes that's the late Donald Hewlett and Michael Knowles who both starred together as brothers in "You Rang M'Lord?" and as Officers in "It Ain't Half Hot Mum".

  • that person coming out of the lift @ 12:40 looks weird..lol

  • @TheWesx That's the elevator operator (or as the Brits say the "lift" operator).

  • @tubette69 Oh i see, haha :)

  • @tubette69 We say 'lift attendant' and prior to that it was just 'lift-man' or 'lift-boy'.

  • @TheWesx Yes does seem weird, notice that she uses her left hand to close the door.

  • @TheWesx Just noticed that @1310 she opens the other lift door.

  • @NicBunnymen That's a rolled-up measuring tape, not a remote! LOL

  • "The executive dining room? The executive dining room?!"

"Glass of water for Mr. Grainger!"

  • Peacock is one hell of a playing bastard....i love him!

  • It's fun watching all the prejudices pushed by the BBC again inb this show. . The sexism, racism, agism, classicism, homophobia and the honoring of the bloodline wealthy is a dead give-away of the hidden agenda in this series,

    LOTS of....fun.

  • Ha ha, Women live longer than men. Well, Not in this case. Seeing as, Captain Peacock is still alive, Their both dead. Ha ha, Miss Brahms was never known for her intellectual capacity though, Who needs brains when you look as good as she does though.

  • @BodomTranquilityWorm Frank Thornton said she was the most intelligent of all of the staff. ;)

  • Is the clip-on bow tie customer the same customer who had the stretched sweater in the episode The Agent? His voice sounds familiar...

  • Capt.Peacock we salute you! (And not the way Mrs. Slocombe generally does!)

  • I love how status and class conscious they are!

  • Captain Peacock was my favorite character.

  • Is there anyone else left besides Frank?

  • @mwaldron14905 Only Mr Rumbold, unfortunately.

  • @mwaldron14905 Nicholas Smith is still alive (Mr. Rumbold), but aside from those two gentleman, I think they have all passed away. I would be sad about it, but they all lived wonderful lives and we have these brilliant shows to remind us of them whenever we watch them.

  • @PortiaJane nope Mike Berry (Mr.Spooner) is still living as is Candy Davis (Ms. Belfridge).

  • @mwaldron14905 Mr. Rumbold and Mr. Spooner.

  • 20:00 lol!! Mr. Grainger is priceless! lol

  • Mr. Thornton..I'm sorry for being so late to wish you a happy birthday but I just found mtwini09's channel with all the full episodes of your show. I wish you many more good days ahead to enjoy. Jolly good job with "Are you being Served" and "Grace and Favour".

  • @wolfstev76 don't forget Last of the Summer Wine as Truly.

  • @Mst3kfanatic1 I LOVE Truly!

  • @Mst3kfanatic1 Thank you!

  • I'm free!

  • POMPUS TWIT!

  • @sparish840 LOL, that part was funny! :)

  • "There's a vacancy over there by the pig bin!"

Love that line from Mrs. Slocombe!

  • Yay Captain Peacock is my second fav :).

  • "The key to the Executive washroom?!"

  • "Oh yes, they all say that!" LOL

  • Glad to know he's still going. I followed him for a while on Last of the Summer Wine as Truly of the Yard. Great character!

  • Frank Thornton who plays Captain Peacock is 90 today. Happy Birthday!

  • @Aaron1912 Almost everyone who passed was between 60-80. He's still breathing @ 90. Kudos to that man, may he have more years to come.

  • @KTBEverlasting He's like the Betty White of the AYBS cast.

  • @Aaron1912 And just as bittersweet with Trevor Bannister, who passed away. R.I.P. Mr. Lucas,

  • @Aaron1912 He's 91 TODAY!! Happy Birthday!! WOO-HOO!!
