Unfortunately the Senators plan for "allowing Americans to purchase the healthcare they want" misses the fact that 30 million plus Americans can't afford it. At the moment America spends 18% of it's GDP on healthcare. Why not allow Americans to buy in to Medicare for say 9% of their Gross salary. The rich can still build their temples, but the working class don't die of simply cured maladies. Surely this is cheaper than allowing full deductibility of 18%?
