@novellware I strongly agree. life is a choice. if you don't work hard and choose to be a beggar. then it's your problem. The Philippine gov't gave free primary and secondary education. If you don't mind? are you a cebuano? or a christian? co'z i'm a cebuano and i'm well aware for the long term effect of this annual celebration. it creates jobs for the people.
Yes, it's aboutr extravaganza, celebration and traditions. Begging is a way of life, they chose to be beggars and poor. Life must go on, don't forget a lot of volunteers donated their time for days and night to have this festival a reality. Around 4 million or probably more are happy including me here in California. What about the exposures on TV, Youtube and the tourists. Are you trying to put an end on this festival being celebrated for hundred of years, nothing can stop this not even rain
