Thank YOU! I'm still looking for my video of the first shuttle launch - STS-1. I also went sometime with just a 35mm camera; no video. I surprised myself how many times I went.
HI. Thanks for watching. Yes, I have just uploaded 2 more shows from the Cape: Apollo 17 and the Apollo-Soyuz mission. I also recorded the first Space Shuttle on video from 1981...but gotta find it.

That's some great video kit and they are proud to be using it. I have a 3/4" toploader in my videos and I'm thrilled to see another!
The 3-tube must have been worth some money...

The Second Space Shuttle was to have been about 5 days but it was cut back to 2 days with a Saturday landing.

Excellent job shooting the launch with that telephoto lens.
What kind of camera did you use? What kind of tube(s) did it have? I was expecting to see all kinds of comet tails coming off those SRB plumes.
And was that a crosspoint-latch switcher I spied in the into?

This is great. If you have any more shows recorded around space missions such as this, please post them.
