  • How is shouting "God is the Greatest" going to do anything? So sad to hear these brainwashed people think God has anything to do with what their government is doing

  • You didn't understand anything.

  • No, I understood fine. God is not listening to that. So sad

  • Try and study the great revolutions of the world and you will find the answer. Defiance in forms the government do not know how to respond to works the best. This was Ghandis doctrine when confronting the British. If you get one brigade/police station/politician to step down in striking back, thousands may follow. That the chain you want to provoke, the local leaders of Iran knew this in the demonstrations this summer. It was a good try and here they where on to something. God or no god.

  • shouting 'god is the greatest' has nothing to do with politicians and or police stations backing down. is has to do with people making choices.

  • Well your obviusly debating ideology where I am making a point about what works in revolutions. You asked how it was going to do anything. Consider that point served. Answer is Ghandis Doctrines on revolution.

  • people yelling a pointless phrase into the sky does nothing. that is what i am saying. why do all you arabs and muslims say that with all that you do? you would think that by now you would no longer need to say that. but it of course takes a little longer for you to understand, so you all continue to do it wether you are killing someone, complaining, talking, being a suicide bomber... etc. so sad, but funny at the same time

  • You automaticly assume my race and religion from my talk about revolutionary tactics? All I can say is wow .. The world is more complicated then that good Sir. I am glad it is. And also you manage to write "you" seven times without being clear on who this "you" carecter realy is. Want me to roleplay a muslim now?

  • Long live Neda's soul!

  • In general, I think the wisest way for America to deal with the psychotic regimes around the world is to expand their embassies here into small sovereign cities. I think that by giving Iran, for example, a few square miles of America and matching funds for development for a decade or so we could find ways to build a lasting relationship between our nations and ultimately engineer a more face-saving way for Iran to back away from theocracy and inch towards a 21st century perspective on reality.

  • Death to the dictator!!!

USA is with you Iran. Fight for your rights.

Remember, It is government who should be afraid of it's people, not the other way around!!!

    God be with you!!

  • Isn't God a dictator too?

  • Your face is a dictator.

    Freedom In Iran. Mousavi!

  • The long term solution to this sort of problem will require the free nations to change the way they hold elections themselves. No nation should be allowed to hold it's own elections for exactly this reason--it's too easy for the existing government to manipulate the process. It should be done by an independent global organization set up to do just that. If such a thing existed, then the other nations could simply assume Iran probably engaged in election fraud and should adopt the new method.

  • and who would guarantee neutrality of such an international committee ? after all it has to be composed of different countries with different interests

  • The point is that they'd adopt and administer a system that they could prove was both fair and correct. It is possible to give each voter a coded receipt that allows them to later verify their vote at a website. People are more likely to vote honestly if they know their own government can never use the way they voted against them. It seems odd that America hasn't moved to a system like this decades ago when the technology it requires first emerged. There aren't enough patriotic officials.

  • "No nation should be allowed to hold it's own elections "

I ageree. I thought the same thing myself. Why isnt the UN Secuity Council facilitating such a process I wonder.

  • I'm pretty sure the Bush administration wouldn't have endorsed it if it had been available then. They'd have given the same excuse as we did to avoid Kyoto.
