The difference is the purpose of the torture --- to train the SEALS to resist the "enhanced interrogation" techniques of the enimy, as opposed to getting info from the trainees. If the purpose is different, is it justified? Not sure, but it seems to Jesse it is justified in the former case, but not the latter. I find it interesting that torture can be condemned and justified all by the same man.

The difference is the purpose of the torture --- to train the SEALS to resist the "enhanced interrogation" techniques of the enimy, as opposed to getting info from the trainees. If the purpose is different, is it justified? Not sure, but it seems to Jesse it is justified in the former case, but not the latter. I find it interesting that torture can be condemned and justified all by the same man.
