Sadly we did our research AFTER we got a double dapple puppy. Breeding dapple to dapple is NOT ethical due to very high likelihood of birth defects. Never support dapple, Merle or Harlequin anywhere but through adoption. No one should make money playing roulette with innocent lives.

Our dachshund is black and brown, and we bred it with a piebald dachshund, which is white and black, therefore creating a first generation of dapple pups. And don't worry, we didn't make any money off of it. We gave them all away except for one. They are very cute pups, and i agree with you and your stance against inbreeding
I only thought my Dog was A Dachsund.. Haha I didn't know my Dacshund was a "Dapple" Dachsund.. Lol Thats weird her name is Dapple :P lol I didn't first own her.
I got a dapple, and it is very loud, and noisy! But, cute, nonetheless!
