$15 is pretty steep, when you consider Garage Band for iPad is $4 and is comparable to several thousand times the technology, research and development of what is ultimately just a port of an early distro of rebirth. Although many content providers don't realise they have set ridiculous prices for other countries, like Australia in my case. Can someone in the US tell me how much it cost you over there please? That information is hidden by providers/Apple at all costs so we're all ignorant of it.

It does run on windows 7 x64. It just needs 'tweaking'. Do a search in google and you'll come across a solution to get it running. I did it awhile back so can't recall the specifics, but it's not that difficult

I was wondering if the Korg ims 20 was worth the price, but it didn't convinced me. So, why there is a $17 difference? Is the Korg app better? Which other apps are worth to be checked out? @IRiPadGuy That's not what this app is. It's a recreation of classic synths, not an audio program. But it has the Audio Copy feature so you could use a program like Four Track for iOS and then copy audio and synth loops from ReBirth over to that program where you'd do your audio clip cutting. slater, broski! :)

@IRiPadGuy This app is a recreation of the Roland TB303, TR808, and TR909 drum machines from the 80s. They are not found in Reason. They only exist in ReBirth and obviously the hardware originals too. Reason is a completely different set of synths, drum machines, samplers, loop players, a sequencer, a mixer, delays, reverbs, distortion, etc.

@Olivander12 It's definitely possible to move stuff you start here to other apps and desktop programs. ReBirth 1.1 just got Audio Copy support for moving audio to other apps on the iOS.  And if you'd rather continue your beat in a program like Record, Reason, or your DAW of choice you can use the share feature to download it on your computer and continue working with it.

¨This and couple more make me SO want an iPad. I hate the lag on the controllers though...and easier to CONTROL than hardware? I don't think so. Its also easier to mess things by accidently releasing touch while adjusting nobs and then touching again on the wrong place. Next wave of tablets are on the horizon already and the next generation will be much more powerfull, and I cannot wait to see what could be done with them.
