  • You ride really awkwardly.

  • you and your horse look really good together. i know sometimes that when anyone tries to get there horse going sometimes the bad habit of "pumping" occurs. i know your horse is young but it also might help if you use a crop or wear spurs. good luck with your horse :)

  • looks good but try not to move your upper body or "pump" so much. other than that u look great!!! and so does your horse!!!!!

  • He looks a little on the lazy side ( your riding shows it, with the way your pumping him in the saddle ) but cute horse...

  • Your horse is so cute! You have great equitation, but try to pump a little less with your back when you canter and be a little more still. Other than that, keep up the good work!

  • you have great equitation!

  • Actually i think she's a kind rider and the pony does respond. Its amazing how much your seat can actually help, it can do a greater deal then a whip or spurs. Riding instructors tell you not to pump in the saddle alot, but for some horses it helps alot. It helps them with their balance, and their movement. Trust me, it helped my welsh cob and help me back in a dartmoor. Their doing great x

  • @Babes13x Yes you can use your seat to drive the horse forwards but you should still keep your upper body still. Your seat becomes far less effective the moment you lose the shoulder-hip-heel line.

  • Do you still have him?

  • cute horse and ineffective rider. Less grinding seat, quieter hands, and good lord pick up a crop if you need more gas. humping the saddle will not help.

Cute little mover, nice jumper. unless he is priced unreasonably he looks like an easy sell for a green prospect

  • i really think he would sell better if you had spurs but thats just me you know cause you are pumping a lot to keep him going so i think that would help him sell better but thats just me

  • if your rocking that hard to make her go faster its not working. try not to pump that hard, her canter is lovely and your interfereing (i know i cant spell) with it. so sit back (while still moving with the canter) and enjoy it :D

    Lovely horse btw

  • you need to stop moving your body so much because he's not going fast enough for you to move that much so your not with his rhythm. You really hardly have to move much at all to move with him =]

  • is he still for sale?

  • yes, i'm actually considering donating him to adoption agencies for a tax-write off, i don't have time to continue searching for a home for him

  • Well, I have a friend looking for a horse.

  • also, why don't you get into your half seat/two-point position in the canter to get off his back and use your crop and your legs, as I watch it again...you look very strange.

  • you need to keep your upper body still and only move your forearms with your horse's head. You look like you are pumping something...if you want him to be more forward, use the appropriate aids.

  • you sit way to forward you should get a shoulder brace it puts ur shoulders back making un sit up uh weird canter but great over all

  • hwats this song called??

  • 16hh 8yr TB. friendly, never lame, no vices. Can be forward, not for timid rider. $6500 neg, must go soon.

  • I like the horse! I think I see what you mean by sticky, I can tell you're trying to send him forward but it looks like you're doing more work then the horse. What was that song/artist you used in the vid? I always hear that song but never find out who...

  • your horse is gorgeous! you both look amazing o/f. Is he young? just a question

  • yes, i agree, it looks as though the rider's seat could soften a little, is the horse on the slow side? Perhaps a crop, set of mild, small spurs, or combination would help. However, while the horse does seem content to just lope around with his head above the bit, when the rider applied her leg more, and softened her seat, there is a moment when the horse comes round, and my Goodness, the two look beautiful. Get some more basic dressage on him-you'll have no problem selling. Good Luck

  • you guys look great :]

i dont think you have to try so hard to push him forward with your seat.

that horse has a very nice canter !! i love it :]

  • He's a very pretty horse. Looks like he has a lot of potential.

  • Needs to wake up more & move from behind

    But Good otherwise

  • this was a slower day, sometimes he is too quick so I tend to hold him back

  • i posted it the link to it on your home page (as a comment. i don't think you can copy and paste it but you can just type it in exactly.

  • what is the COTH?

    what thread?

what are you all talking about?!?!!?

    just wondering=)

  • the magazine is not expensive at all!! there are people on there from all backgrounds. and just b/c some might have more money than you, doesn't mean they can't offer good advice/criticism!

What did you think of the thread?

  • couldn't find the thread by googling

  • yeah woobie, that's how i found out about her videos. she should read the COTH thread hahaaa. it's not just an upsurge of rude comments-it's the horse community generally deciding that, um, well, you read it yourself.

  • ooh omg its probably b/c someone started at thread on the Chronicle of the Horse message board (it's a big name magazine with lots of top riders/trainers/general horse people on there) about you and one of your videos. they didn't post your name b/c they didn't want to make a matyr of you.

so thats probably how everyone found your videos

  • much much much improved. super cute horse!

jw but what's with the message at the beginning?

  • I have recently had an upsurge of rude comments on my videos and was quite frustrated, I wanted to discourage that

  • Can you take a newer video?

  • I have newer photos but no time to get a newer video, email me if you want to see them

  • What is his difficulty level?

  • He can be ridden by any level adult, but requires a stronger junior, best for intermediate+

  • How much? Were at? how old? Show expiriance?
