WYL is like a "Shot in the Dark" by Ozzy, then goes into some George Lynch licks, then goes ballz to the wall Warren DiMartini of Ratt! There are hints of neoclassical Tony MacAlpine too, so I can't really call Rex an original guitarist in terms of his tone and his phrasing!

Damn is that Warren DiMartini on lead??? This group gives Ratt a run for their money! Never heard them on Mtv in the 80s but they still get five stars in 2009!

I love Whitecross.  I met Scott years ago when Whitecross was in the Shawnee Mission, Kansas (USA) area. He took the time to listen to me. That was cool. At that time (mid 80's) I was a very impressionable youth.

@MLBRENIZER I met Scott at a Whitecross concert in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa (1994). It was shortly after Rex Carroll left the band, and the band had Barry Graul at lead guitar, Tracy Ferrie was at bass guitar, and Mr. Reliable at the drums (Mike Feighan). The entire band was very accessible, signed autographs, talked about God, or joked around. I remembered telling Mike Feighan, that Led Zeppelin had nothing on them... since they're witnessing for the Lord. Besides, I liked there music much more.
