I enjoy the holiday season in the U.S., from Thanksgiving to New Years Day. I have three children and a beautiful wife so the holidays are very special to me. I am also very close to my mother in law, so we have some quality family time during this span. Keep up the dual posting of BFBC2 and BO, this is cool and I enjoy them both.

The day of the Santa Claus was moved from 6th December to the 24th. The theology professor Clement Moore wrote a poem to his children about Santa Claus. This poem was published by a friend of him. The poem tells about Santa Claus riding a sleigh pulled by 8 reindeer on Christmas eve. In 1863 the poem was illustrated on the cover of the Christmas edition of Harper's Weekly. This made the base for how santa now looks.

St Nicholas was a bishop in Myra. He gave a lot of gifts. He died on th 6th december around 350 ad. In the Netherlands Sinterklaas was a saint that survived the reformation. He comes in a steamboat from Spain. With him he has Zwarte Pieter that climbs down the chimney and give the gifts to the children. When the sinterklaas was exported to the USA Zwarte Pieter was left out and Santa Claus himself delivers the presents. Zwarte Pieter is found as the crook in the Mickey Mouse cartoon.

French and Dutch are both my first languages. My father is french-speaking and my mom is dutch-speaking. And I learned German in school and it's one of my majors at uni. ;P
