It's a band that uses poor elements of other genres, has them throw up on each other, and slaps there name on it. Then people who actually think indie is a genre jump all over it.

How much of their stuff have you listened to, out of curiosity? Because songs like "What Would I Want? Sky" and "Banshee Beat" (not from MPP) showcase some really fantastic songwriting, IMO.
