how i can get the blue car (there stands "Galopp" on the car) in this second CCE Part of daytona. In the first part i have this car allready at the begining.

The orignal Arcade version(And I mean the Arcade as in the giant one with the cabinet)is the BEST.But if your talking consoles than I guess it's the DC.
Sigh.....Too bad no more Daytona games are coming out...
man i used to rent this game back in 97 for a dollar.. only if i knew that this game would be worth $250 on ebay.. I enjoyed this game a lot as a teenager.. long live Sega.
I prefer the original Saturn Daytona USA music, too. It may have been pure cheese, but it was pure arcade cheese. They must have been trying to lean it closer to simulation with CEE. It's just missing that arcade feel without the original racing physics and music.
Yep, they are basically the same thing, outside of the fact that Daytona USA Deluxe fot the PC has one extra track. (Silver Ocean Causeway, I beleive it's called)
I am kinda torn between the two, the original Saturn Version was far more faithful to the Arcade Original but had some flaws because it was rushed, while this version looks and runs nicer, it doesn't play like the Arcade Original and the music isn't as good in my opinion. Imagine what the Original Saturn version would have been like if they were given more time to finish it.
thats exactly how i would have put it. this game desperately needs an arcade perfect port on wii virtual console or xbox live idealy with online. (well i can always dream!) :-D
30fps, but the original arcade from 1993 was running 60fps and much prettier than this. I had the Saturn and the Daytona games were very disappointing for me. But Sega Rally was great.
it was still kinda fun

Actually it was Eric Martin and JUN SENOUE who did the song Sons of Angels not Mr. Big.

Jun is that the guitarist who also made sega rally its music?

Get DAYTONA USA DELUXE (PC) then! It's Daytona USA: CE's only appearance for the Western reigions!

Daytona CCE was developed by Sega AM3/Hitmaker, since the game used a modified version of the engine in the Saturn port of Sega Rally Championship.

Eric Martin wrote the worst lyrics in a game, EVER. I prefer the original Saturn Daytona USA over CCE...

That is correct.

The PC version also had a Direct3D patch that added hardware acceleration and different lighting modes for each track.

they changed the Hornet car's number :(

This isn't the original hornet. The #19 hornet is just a paradox from the legendary #41 hornet high-class

Lets bair in mind that Model 2 board cost upwards of £17,000 Thousand pounds , compared to the Saturn's £400 pounds :)
TeamAndromeda 4 years ago
@TeamAndromeda The truly sad thing is that, 10+ years on, 30 fps is still being accepted on home consoles. I don't know why that's allowed.

my first ever saturn game cool game.

A great Soundtrack to a mediocre game. Even the CCE version was a bit of a dissapointment for me. Never knew why everyone was so amazed by it.
