  • To TherapistYinka we don't need your kind here anyway.Your the kind the always looks into the past and doesn't look froward to the future of how things have changed.I was born and raised in the north, Michigan to be exact moved to miss. about thirty years ago. I would not move back if my life depended on it. Love the south, but that's just me.

  • Philadelphia, like much of the south (unfortunately) has a dark past.

But unlike other areas of the south, it's become one of the most integrated communities around. I can tell you haven't visited by your comment, because if you had - you'd have seen Native Americans, African Americans, and Caucasians living in good harmony - much more so than in larger cities that you may deem "modern" (Atlanta, New Orleans, New York, Los Angeles, etc...)

Race relations have come a long way since then.

  • Where the civil rights workers were murdered...where the police and governement officials were out-spoken members of the terrorist group, the KKK...Uhm no thanks Philadelphia, Mississippi!
