Having gone from a powerful rear wheel drive back to a torquey front wheel drive, all I can say is. Front wheel drive is wrong wheel drive. They just suck, power should not be going to the front wheels.

@Duffblue You do realize that the there is NO FWD impreza right?!? In fact until the BRZ comes out, there is NO FWD subaru. ALL subarus are AWD...that is kinda their niche market. Keep talking, you just look more idiotic.
And what does the fact that the lancer as a base model is FWD have to do with EVOs? You do realize that an AWD system is different from a FWD one right? It's not like you just add a driveshaft and you can make a FWD car into a AWD car right?

Also to add to the EVO. The EVO has a different front and rear sub frame then the regular lancer and a completely different suspension system. So really, the fact that the base lancer is FWD is kind of a moot point.

It cost more to add a turbo system to the honda engine then to modify an existing turbo system 4) with the turbo, once again wrong. You will get crap gas milage like any other turboed cars 5) Any WRX/STi/RA/EVO that has had the amount of money to do a turbo swap into a civic put into it will blow the civic out of the water.
