if you need a snack on the go that you don't want to worry about I go with Lara bars. They are raw, natural foods that are just mixed together like if you used a food processor, they only have like 2-9 ingredients, and are super tasty! My problem with bringing fruit around is: a) they get bruised easily and b) I've forgettien they're in my backpack for a few weeks!!.....yumm, rotten banana juice =)
I just started watching these vids. After reading a book titled The Maker's Diet, I've gone fruits and veggies. I still fry some in olive oil though. My biggest weakness is whenever I have to go out and run errands, the last thing I want to do when I get home is fix something so I'll drive thru a fast food place. Since my system has gotten cleaned out, whenever I do eat processed food, it almost KILLS me! Every time. These vids are great btw!
Unfortunately I don't drive-- so I can't actually get to the spring which is outside the city. So instead, I buy bottle spring water (which is local) and comes in glass bottles.
In all I prefer to have my water in glass rather than plastic-- but that is not always the case. Anything is better than unfiltered tap water-- so stay away from that!
When i go on my bike rides I don't take water with me.
Don't boil the water-- boiling water changes the structure of the water (you can heat water up, but better not to boil it!) As for drinking water, I drink bottled spring water- in glass bottles!!!! (try to limit plastic bottles!!!)
Are you checking your fat percentage on a regular basis? I did fasting, too, when I was 31 and I *loved* it, because I also fealt great, looked slim and lost weight. Ive been reading lately that you lose mostly muscles instead of fat when fasting, thats why I dont fast any more. I now try to lose fat without losing muscles, which is a difficult balance ;-) Your tipps about how to keep on track are all awesome, thanks a lot!!
Thank you Fuechsin111 for your input. Its funny because this time around with the fast I made it a point to drink more juice so I could exercise everyday-- I agree that if you fast and really restrict your calories you will have muscle wasting-- which is not what I'm looking for!!!!
Thanks so much again for your comment, I really appreciate it!

I have a question. I love juicing because of how healthy it is, and I want to do a juice fast.
Do you think it is as much of a pain in the but to prepare it as I do?
Is there some way to take more joy in juicing?

do you actually go out to the spring and fill up a glass jug?
So, I gotta get rid of my Nalgene, huh? Do you take a glass bottle when you go on your bike rides?
Sorry for so many questions! You are one of the few raw vloggers that respond! Thanks so much!

Thank you!

Well you certainly look great and healthy after just 6 days. I think when you keep repeating good habits, they eventually become normal.
Is it just me or do you seem extra happy and full of the joys of Life?
Well done and keep the good work up. Great videos! Thanks for posting!
