they probably took turns filming each other, and the last shot, the camera was stationary, so they probably just placed it somewhere so it could film all three.

Who took the final still photos? I don't think a time delay setting would work like that. Not to mention that the camera used for the still photos and the camera used for video are in the same spot, so someone would need to switch from still photos to video, and none of the three budged an inch.
