  • gayass video.

  • practic,practic

  • This looks like etched hamon.

  • musashi katanas are the shit. you can't go wrong for the money

  • you don`t even know how to use a katana! that was not a clean cut>>fail!!

  • I ran across the Musashi sea dragon and was wondering if you knew anything about it. Is it the same as this with different fittings? I tried to find on your site and didn't. Will you be gitting this in? When I purchase my new sword it will be from your site and was interested in the sea dragon. Thank you very much.

  • Email us a picture and we will see if we can get it.

  • so if i ordered one i would get the one shown on the site

  • yes

  • this is not the same sword as the one on the site, this one has no bloodgroove and the tsuba is different, if i were to order one, which sword would i get, this one or the one on the site

  • They are both the same sword only the newer one has a bohi as shown in the picture.

  • GREAT SWORD FOR THE MONEY!!!

but otherwise I wouldn't call it great. As a serious practitioner and collector I normally wouldn't buy a sword this cheap, but seeing as I won it in a prize I share my thoughts on the sword.

Keep in mind my standards were set by my Hanwei Bushido and a friends Oni Forge Imperial

    The bad-

Black cotton ito is loose and unevenly wrapped.

fake samegawa is not ascetically appealing.

    cont.

  • fuchi/kashira are made of thin metal and the kashira is loose.

the mekugi nearest the fuchi partially split when I removed it with my mekuginuki hammer

I've had shoe laces thicker then the sageo.

The tsuka is on so tight I can't remove it from the nakago

    The Good :-)

The tsuka its self feels rock solid!

    the habaki fits great.

everything is extremely tight on the sword!

    the sword weights 1lb 15oz.

    cont.

  • and came sharp enough to cut paper.

the sword has a beautiful chu kissaki

    the metal koiguchi is great.

overall it is a great sword for the money!

  • also, if you buy this blade, remember to always cut with the oil on the sword. Mine got stained in 5 seconds when I cut a pineapple, so keep the oil on the blade.

  • interesting. I just ordered my first fully functional katana so that little tip will help me greatly. Naturally i knew to clean and oil afterwards.....didnt think about oiling before. thanks again.

  • I have that same exact sword. It was very blunt when I first got it in the mail, maybe becuz I bought the very last one in stock. Couldn't even cut paper. Had to sharpen it for 10 mins before it can cut paper(that is not supported). Now that it is sharpen, it can cut paper in half when I toss paper in the air and slice away. Clean cuts only. Good buy. I wish mine didnt have a bo-hi, I have to use more force to cut large things.

  • i have to say

let the blade cut for you

    your leaning into it

    look at this yourself

    your strike isnt in form

    are you trained

  • I am not trained.

  • Hey one question.

If it says N for "in stock" does that mean I cannot order it until it's back in stock? Or can I order it and get one when it's available?

  • You may order at any time and we will ship when it is available.

  • Great! I will order it as soon as possible.

  • Do you ship to Canada?

  • We sure do!

  • is the sword with-out the bo-hi(blood groove) a better cutter then the sword with the bo-hi? if so, might you have any in stock? also, i know that your just showing how well the sword cuts and not showing your "skill" as others may think, but it will do you a great deal if you would keep your back staight when cutting. just wanted to help you so you can help me.

  • Bo-ho is just preference in my eyes. Bo-hi=lighter blade, no bo-hi= heavier blade

  • Nice sword, you keep scooping your cuts though.

  • I just got my ss676 musashi katana today and I love it. Now that I have it in hand, it is closer to the one in the video than I realized - so I reserve the right to retract my previous post whining. This is truly a cool sword and though it wasn't as sharp as I had hoped, it made quick work of some small tree branches in my back yard. Thank you Swordsofmight I will be ordering from you again soon!!!

  • I purchased this sword and did a video review of it, check it out.

  • thatis the masahiro elite musashi katana not the musashi katana!!! IF you look closely at the tsuba you can tell. does that mean i have no idea how the musashi katana cuts? can u please tell me if this is correct and if so can u fix and show the musashi katana in action and or new review for the sword? it seems like a great deal for the money

  • its out of stock on your website when will it be back in stock?

  • Early next week. You should email us for a more prompt answer next time

  • oh and does it have full tang? (I like it and im considering buying it) You can message me with more in depth info on it if you want.

  • It is full tang.

  • does it have a real hammon? And why does the picture on the website have a bloodline on the blade and this does not?

  • The company has changed it to include a bloodgroove (bo hi)The hamon is wire brushed.

  • Does this sword come with the nice box like some of the other Musashi Katanas?

  • No, just a cardboard box like the other cheaper musashis

  • Thank you very much.

  • We no longer ship international.

  • yeah I get that, but why?

  • We had too many bad orders and no recourse.

  • whats that little blue thing on the mats?

  • Its like a ring of cloth that holds the end of the mat together.

  • This is a good seller with a great price.

  • it has a fuller 0.o!
