You are so funny! It makes me feel a lil better as a teenaged American moving to china, I have no idea what it'll be like and your vids give me a lil view on my future... So ya thanks
@sunkissed646 Best of luck to you! What is causing the move? Make the best of it. I'm assuming you're there long-term as opposed to my short 3 months but you will do just fine as long as you embrace the challenges that present themselves to you. Again, best of luck.
And if you get to access YouTube like I was able to, be sure to share your experiences as well!
haha im chinese when i was little we used to have the water heater and i always afraid that the heater is going to fall off on me so then my mom moved the heater under the sink :P
omg....at 3:58 that water bottle!!! haha....in shanghai the drink bottles always did that to me!! coz the plastic is thinner and doent like being chilled so it kinda scrunches up and suddenly pops
@petrucci15 Haha! Now hearing that someone witnessed this all the time as well is really amusing! That happened so many more times, I can't even tell you. It's such a loud pop. How WOULDN'T I jump at that sound?
lol yea i know if woke up and had to hoover over a hole in the ground instead of sitting down reading my paper or whatever you do lol id be moving a chair in that bathroom or something lol
@Paulismyhero777 Are you referring to the strange water heater and washer? Yeah, you would think a washer/dryer hybrid would be awesome - Far from it. And the water heater is just strange. However, it does make sense to use gravity to assist in helping hot water flow downward through an apartment, but I don't see the real benefit. It's more a spacial issue.
@cantuac i actually ment that you have to throw away used T paper because the plumbing cant handle it. I'd heard people talk about that, but they were missionaries in the very poor areas of asia...
lol what is it about the bathroom, its the one room across the world that differs completely
@Paulismyhero777 Yes, many people had warned me to treat the toilets with more caution than back home in the states. Very interesting that bathrooms are the most varied between cultures, right? I was fortunate to have a nice apartment. It was spacious, new and clean. I applaud those who do missionary work living in very poor areas. They are the real troopers.
