met the guitar player in a bar in N.H. the whole band was walkin around in the croud befor the set except for neal. don't know how more down to earth you can get
They probably still do from time to time. I've heard that they actually change their set list for every show with a, few exceptions depending on the tour they are doing.
Watching this video made me look at my old stubs. Found the following Clutch w/Speedball (St.Andrew's Hall-Detroit,MI) Mar 16, 1996. Clutch w/?? (The Palladium-Roseville,MI) Mar 30,1996. Clutch W/Tad (Phoenix Plaza-Pontiac,MI) June 22, 1995. Clutch w/?? (St. Andrew's Hall-Detroit, MI) Mar 18 1995. What great memories of getting totally wasted and slamming till I puke. Ahhhhhhh
@GonnaSin I'm from South florida. Saw many great shows at the Button as well. I remember seeing Clutch at the Plus Five a long time ago, mid to late 1990's. Awesome show.
there's NOTHING to say after this VIDEO.... this is the epitimy of what CLUTCH is for you true fans out there, you know why we jam this shit so hard !!!!!
cease dividing - bring together - see all similarities and differences alike AS THE STRENGTHS THAT THEY ARE!!! - rise up and free yourself and everyone else in the MFN process!!!
Seik fn heil!! change change oh yes change is coming indeed and then no change all same more debt still in iraq still in afghan still fleecing the sheeple and killing those who do not bleat correctly.
The yoke of faith splatters silent Harvest time, red moon rising Anvil cloud, lightning rod Peacemaker, life taker What's inside the silo? Can it fly? A needle in the haystack To crack the sky The yoke of faith breaks away From the beast of burden Harvest time, red moon rising Peacemaker, life taker Peacemaker Peacemaker Peacemaker Life taker
Ahhh shut aaap mr. knowitall ... I heard it all and like it too. Don't tell people what is what. Don't go slinging labels like "dumb asses and ingnorant fuckheads" around. Only dumb asses and ignorant fuckheads would do that!
clutchs older stuff sounds more heavy metal than they're later work. But man can clutch woop musical ass. senn em a couple of times and am going the 28th to see em again.(for the 9th time)
I DID discover them on Youtube, and they rock, can't believe what I've been missing. Are you one of those elitist pricks that can't like a band unless only you and three other people like them. I was once like you, get over yourself, it's just music.
and one more thing. YOUTUBE had nothing to do with people hearing about clutch! i mean fuck, you can barley even find that much stuff by them on here!
I hadn't seen this in a while and wanted to share. For those of you who aren't old enough this was filmed at the original 930 club in Washington DC, where I first saw C! on the ass end of their Transnational Speedway League tour. It gave me fucking goosebumps when I saw the panned back shot of the old 930 stage and that pain-in-the-ass pole that was stuck right in the middle of the floor. CLUTCH is mighty.
seen em in march in charlotte, again-june 16 in asheville- fucking great everytime...best live rock show. only band to not care, a.k.a, sellout, and put it where it belongs...in the hands and ears of tha fans!
For Clutch to get widespread respect, they would have to change to appease a wider audience. I think we're lucky they decided to keep their sound, and not be as popular as they might have been.
Clutch rules, always have since I first saw em in er what 93 I think. Then about 100 shows since then. I hope they tour with THE NEEDLES (seersucker) soon. True rock lineup.
They all Look so young it's scary . I met these guys and hung out w/ them alot of times back in early Nineties and Got to see them play(16 times and counting) and evolve into Now status .. W0W is all i can say .. Very kewl guys that like KFC .. nice video from an Early Show. Thank u Neil,Tim,JP,Dan u guys make life much more interesting.Thx for the free shows.
They were one of my favs about mid 90s, but they started doing the funk rock thing and the stoner rock thing and I lost interest around elephant riders. Trying to decide if I'm going to see them when they come here, it's only been about 10 yrs.
That's a treat, rock a whole lotta parking lot, yeah...
