@foo176 only Cloud and Cid have triple growth weapons. Cid's triple growth is the Scimitar found in Underwater reactor. and Cloud's Triple growth is the Apocalypse which is found in the Ancient Forest in the far end. But Cid's best Materia growth weapon is the Javelin found in Gaea's Cliff because it offers double growth for 5 slots. 5 x 2 is 10 so it's the same as leveling 10 materia. Cloud's is triple for 3 slots 3 x 3 is 9. Cid's actually better off with the Javelin than Scimitar.

@foo176 rune armlet you buy in Bone Village. but Wizard Bracelet offers the same amount of materia growth as Rune Armlet does. Rune Armlet is double for 4 slots and Wizard Bracelet is 8 for normal. it really depends on what you prepare physical defense or magic defense. the only state Rune Armlet beasts Wizard Bracelet in is physical defense and it's only 14 more. everything else Wizard Bracelet tops Rune Armlet. Wizard Bracelet you can buy at Mideel or steal from Epiolnis at Ancient Forest

The equipment & stat screens say you get the defense, but when you take magic damage in battle the boost in magic defense isn't even part of the damage calculations. I tested it out a long time ago when I heard that theory by casting bolt on my characters to see of Wizard Bracelet does or does not reduce magic damage and it does reduce magic damage. No offense but isn't Cid better off with the javelin? it's 5 slots with double materia growth. 5x2 is 10 so it's like raising 10 materias. scimitar is 3 x 2 which is 6. but you do have the 2 most essential characters for materia growth Cid and Cloud. but then again if you're focusing on just 5 materia to obtain master materia then I guess that is a better way.

@cloudtheavenger Techinically yes, but only if you are trying to level up a lot of materia in a shorter amount of time. If there are only 2 certain materia you want to level up lightning fast, going with the Scimitar is quicker. It all depends on preference ;)

And you can use your w-item to get unlimited items. Highlight the item you want unlimited of as long as you have 2 of them use one then press O on it again but press X instead of O twice the second time. Keep pressing O then X the second time and you'll see the number of the item increase.

If you cast death force enemy skill which is learned from one of the dragons the tomberry can't kill you with knife. Also kor kills them in one cast

USE W ITEM TRICK TO GET 99 ELIXIRS. NO MORE STEALING FROM THE DANCING BASTARD!!! (use one item you want to duplicate on whoever, then for the second item, select who you want to use it on but then cancel using it). Every time you do this you gain the item you used first. You can have 100 of every usable item, especially elixirs and megalixers.

@trickest1923 why run? they give 6k exp at minimum it's easy for me. i started killing them at lvl 50ish with double cut, final attack + revive2, haste combo. but if you want you can also add a mime or two in their. now im at lvl 80 and kill in 1-2 turns.

If you want to get 99 Elixirs, then just use the "W-Item Glitch".

First, you will need at least 2 Elixirs. Then, when you encounter

Elixir Pots, give 1 Elixir to one of them. Since you have W-Item, you will

be able to use another item. Instead of giving your 2nd elixir to the other

Elixir Pot, just cancel the action (Press X), then press O, Then X, etc.

Keep repeating until you have 99 Elixirs.

Note: this glitch works on any item or Monster. Go ahead and get as much items as you want!

2 Elixir Pots give 16 000 EXP (and 2000 AP).

However, if you have EXP Plus Materia (Mastered), 2 Elixir Pots will give you

I was playing this again and i think you can get screwed if you get pincer attacked by the magic pots while you have lucky 7's. I had barret on with Max HP at 7777 so he just went every round firing away but luckily i wasnt pincer attacked.

I got so used to doing this ap trick that I dropped the save right there in that level to the left where you were running around towards the end of the video!

@smithwh Yes, at the beginning of the cave you are given this item. Most people place it halfway through the cave, or right before the final battle, but placing it in ap room is a great idea if you plan on going there a lot.

@SuperZombiekiller12 Choose the option "good treasure" and dig on the X in the dirt on the first floor to the right of the guy you talk to. The first time you dig there you should get a mop, the second time you should get the W-Item Materia. There's about a 1/3 chance that you will get it.

@raider4life35 They are called movers, and they only appear in this section of the Final Dungeon (The section with master tonberries). They are what seem to be the most rare enemies in the game, but if you hang around this are you'll run into plenty of them.

Fuckin Master Tonberry. I still remember the strategy guide said he had 8000 HP. Bullshit. I had an omnislash not kill him. I think he's even survived a Knights of the Round, don't quite remember though. I always just ran from that little fucker.

@ninjajesus81 The Master Tonberry has 44,444 hp. Knights of the Round can kill the Tonberry, it deals 13 hits for up to 129,987 damage. ;)
