What needs to be done is bring back Glass-Steagall Act and bring on new regulations. Raise the taxes back to where they were in the 1970's and we can rebuild our government. I will remind everyone that we are in a 74 year low in taxes. When taxes were at 90% on the top 1% we had the best nation in the world. Ironic its the opposite and we face a recession. Taxation is not wrong its necessary and right for a healthy society so lets return to fiscal reason and stop the GREED!

Earn and greed are two different things. When one makes billions at the expense of others for nothing more to have excess that's greed. I have enough to help my family, and feed them having 10x that is neither necessary nor wanted by my family. See the difference is need and want. Liberty and freedom are by definition the same. Clearly you don't know that. Saying Freedom means little if you don't know what it is. I know freedom and its value. You don't know freedom, and that's what's sad...

the recession has nothing to do with what you claim as "low taxes"...the recession is from government spending to a point where the value of the dollar bill in your pocket cannot buy a flippin candy bar...then, the government taxing the corporations (2nd largest in the world to Japan) to a point where they cannot afford to pay their employees what they would like to pay them...higher taxes fail.

why would you want to "rebuild the government"? the government caused EVERY problem we have.

Its government spending without proper taxation. We for the last 25 years have kept lowering taxes and adding to deficit. It was Cheney who once said, "Deficits don't matter" No the people caused the problem we all fell into the idea of greed is good. We need to be stewards of government and make sure society is run well by maintaining it. Government is not the problem its the conservatives who don't believe in it and wish to "starve the beast."

Government wants to spend and spend, but we have limited resources...so, it devises a way to spend more than the resources (Federal Reserve - fraction reserve banking)...then to pay the debt, print MORE money...the people will not notice this a TAX as it is indirect and doesnt appear until the money is in the market, 8-12 months later.
