Looks like Jones is just another giant-- a giant SUCKBALL.
The business is full of them; every overgrown dork who can't make it in an real sport, and Vince thinks that just because they're 6'10 and over 300 lbs. then the fans are going to like them so he tries them out, and then tosses them aside when they don't get a reaction.
All they're good for is jobbers for Undertaker or CM Punk etc.
i think jones would have kept wrestling if he hadn't have gone to wwe there is to much political bs in wwe not to mention the bias booking and the fact ya boss is a wanker
I don't think Nathan Jones made a bad decision. He avoided years of pain caused by wrestling. It was logical reasoning. He didn't want to be a wrestler anymore so he left and retired a year later.
Nathan Jones had dyslexia. He had difficulty moving past it so he left the business. He stated it himself, the travelling was far too much for him, and with his mental disability, he couldn't handle it all
@jhniscolV2 Dyslexia has nothing to do with being a wrestler. A close family member has dyslexia, and he has competed in sports his entire life. IT has absolutley no effect on athletic performance or acting/selling ability.
I think back in the day WWE they only care was about the look and the height so Nathan Jones was one of them but I remember when he debut on WWE in 2003 he seemed like he didn't have that ability to be a athletic in the wrestling business and the mic who knows how he would of be

@theseverancerising I think TLC made a big statement about the direction WWE is going take regarding talent push (HOPEFULLY). The two marquee titles are on guys that cut their chops in the Indies. This is promising. Meanwhile, Mason Ryan and Ezekiel Ryan have disappeared. Hell, they even stopped pushing Broadus Clay.
The two main titles are on two guys who have no business being long-term world champions (IMO of course). Daniel Bryan couldn't sell a ticket if it came with free WWE ice cream bars, and CM Punk just isn't believable as world champ to me. He doesn't have the look, the presence or the syle. He's champ because there really isn't anyone else. More power to him though.
@vincentrich No offense, but this is a fucking idiot type of attitude. I suppose Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero, or Rey Mysterio, or Bret Hart, or even HBK, "IYO", weren't "world champion material". Right? Because they're not huge, roided out monsters, right? That's what you mean when you say they don't have "the look, the style, the presence", right? Hell, by that logic, even Stone Cold Steve Austin, or Randy Savage wouldn't have been "the guy". OR Ric Flair. Get real.
In all actuality, what YOU said shows the "fucking idiot type of attitude." Like Punk's redundant debates with HHH, everything that you said has to do with size. I made a pretty broad criticism, and you jumped into a monologue about bodybuilders in wrestling. Truth be told, every guy who you mentioned was a big draw BEFORE they'd won the world title. Punk and Bryan were after-thoughts and throw-ins AT BEST before becoming world champ, so excuse me if I'm not sold.
@poopmaster13 Actually vincentrich is right. CM Punk is great but he's not a believable champion. Especially when you got guys like John Cena around. He looks like an average guy you see in a bar. Having the "look" is crucial for people to take a wrestler seriously. An example would be SCSA. Remember when Austin would walk down the ramp to the ring? His swearing, shaved head, and pissed off look had people thinking "Damn, this guy is about to kick some ass!" You can't say the same about CM Punk.
@vincentrich they are great wrestlers....Punk is champ because he is great on the mic and a great wrestler and Bryan....well he's just a great wrestler...his personality has alot to be desired. It isn't their fault they are limited to what they can say or do....that's Vince that doesn't allow them to do what they would like to do.
@theseverancerising it used to be about skill and passion. Now the most passionate wrestlers seem to be the ones getting punished. Why hasn't a guy like Colt Cabana, who is one of the most passionate guys in pro wrestling even gotten a second chance in WWE?
@ENSAR36TV He's been doing acting roles for the last few years. According to his IMDB, he was in the Conan The Barbarian remake that came out this year.
@ENSAR36TV Getting his ass beat by little Asian guys like Jet Li and Tony Jah in movies like protector. You can youtube the protector movie. Getting killed by Brad Pittin in Troy. He's sorta portrayed in hollywood as the big dumb ogre that is the "good" guys punching bag.
Nathan Jones did have a great look and back story, also he was pretty good on the mic. But it was clear that he didn't want to be a WWe wrestler. What a shame, he could have been something special if he wanted it.
Nathan Jones was a competing power lifter for a number of years and placed high in a number of competitions. I doubt that it was the drive that was the problem, but the lifestyle of staying on the road for so long. The guy's great at choreography, I'm pretty sure he could have easily been one of their top contenders if he wanted to stick around. He's a hell of a lot faster and more athletic then any of the other guys his size in there.
@GulfCoastGangsta They DID do that. He came back with better wrestling skill, not to mention about 50 more pounds of muscle. Problem was he hated the travel schedule and just up and quit after the Team Lesnar story was over.
@chelchi14 He actually quit when they came back to Australia on tour. WWE were pissed because they thought he just wanted a 'free ride home' but he left here again like a month later & started doing acting.
he didn't have the athletic ability??? Say that to the guys face! You must have rode the short bus dude. He maybe lacked the drive to be in the WWE, I can see that, but he didn't have the athletic ability?? You, sir, are a fool & a jack ass if you think that
He didn't have the athletic ability? Lol. I'm pretty sure Nathan Jones was actually doing well in strongman events but broke his arm and retired. Clearly he had no passion or drive to stay in the WWE but to say he didn't have the athletic ability is ridiculous.
@delv213 The reason Nathan Jones did not stick around wasn't because of the opinion of the booze parched cheeks of a Texan Born again!.......
More like Nathan Jones was an awake aussie who built his own career and did not need to abide by the schedule and molding of the good ole' boys...... That is WWE!
@XKonn What is More? My idea of doing more may be completely different to yours... Nathan Jones was capable and gifted in the square circle. Keep in mind the fact was he was already made and recognized globally and had set himself up financially long before the wwe. Like if you had money and were set you would work for a boss!! As for Mr Pritchard as I have said before, his Born again christian Ideals do nothing but make me want to kick him in the ass!
Nathan hated all the travel. He's not a big fan of airplanes (His size doesn't help with that). And somehow, I doubt he's much of a backstage politician.
This is a business for 275 lb used car salesmen. He was not it. Looked awesome. You can't teach 6'10" 325 lbs
@BSabres87 His name is Bruce Pritchard, brother of wrestler Tom Pritchard, Brother Love was his old character. Kevin Dunn, WWE's Executive VP for Television Production, is an entirely different person and to my knowledge has never appeared in front of the cameras
What is it with WWE and hiring guys who went to prison; Booker T, Nathan Jones, MVP. Don't get me wrong Booker and MVP were really talented and neither were proud of what they did. But why did they make MVP's convictions and Jeff Hardy's addictions into storylines... yet Aloisia was dropped from NXT and other women won't get hired because of nude modelling...you know that thing WWE used to be so proud of.
@goth1agw1omw you sorta have to wonder about what state their victims are left in either while they are off hugging fans and smiling at the camera, talking about how reformed they are yes how they made a mistake while getting paid a hundred thousand dollars a year.
It's odd that I noticed this video in the list. Out of the blue, I thought of this guy a few days ago. I can remember the promo videos that he did and his first night on Smackdown. I also remember thinking that his lower body was disproportioned for his upper body, haha. He just disappeared.
Tom Magee has a match on here where he presses Terry Gibbs and hoists him over one shoulder easier then I have ever seen done. In another match he Bearhugs an opponent and muscles him around into the best Pile Driver ever done in Pro Wrestling.
Tom Magee has Mark Henry beat on both lifts with a 1185lb Deadlift and a 955lb squat the top 5 strongest men in wrestling were in order 1. Bill Kazmier 2. Tom Magee 3. Nathan Jones 4. Ken Patera 5. Mark Henry
It's all well and good to slag the piece of neat that was Nathan Jones but to be fair aren't their cubicles of robots who never worked a match in their lives working for the Fed...who are supposed to recognize that BEFORE a worker gets contracted and promoted?
Australia is the largest island in the world! In fact Australia is a continent. We're not South Africans. I don't replace every vowel with 'eh'. But don't get the idea that Nathan Jones is the best Australia has to offer. Its a total shame that we may not see another Aussie in the WWE because the promotions down here haven't quiet found the knack for showcasing Aussie wrestlers. First indie show I went to at 13 and the crowd was saying 'What?' during promos. Aussie wrestling needs an identity
@JonLambert89 i don't think it's a problem if Nathan Jones is actually the best Australia has to offer dude. He's probably the best wrestler overall in my opinion. He's got the size, the strength, the fitness ( his body was way better than batista), agility and the fearsome/ badass look on his face. People may say he doesn't have skills but actually, he wasn't given the time to improve it. Too bad wwe didnt use him right. You know, i actually came to like Australia mostly because of him.
@logant1990 good point but I wasn't trying to criticise his wrestling mate. I've watched him wrestle outside of the WWE its clear how far he could have gone. My target was "World" Wrestling Entertainment for undermining a foreign star which they do too often. And Australian promotion IWA for not stepping up their game. Jones retired too soon. If he'd had his heart in it he wouldn't have quit WWE. The point is... Bruce Prichard is still a deadshit (idiot) for mistaking Australia for South Africa.
@logant1990 You are right man..He wasnt given the time to improve it.Man, what a great physique he has Nathan should be stronger than goldberg and brock lesnar..
@SameerPrehistorica He IS stronger than Goldberg and Brock Lesnar in term of physical strength. He won 2 of the World Strength Championship, on championship from Australia and only once lost to Magnús Ver Magnússon (probably the strongest man on earth).Besides, in his match with shannon Moore, He lifted the guy up straight WITH ONE HAND while he was lying down and Shannon Moore weights around 200 pounds. Never seen anyone in WWE capable of doing that, not even Goldberg or Brock Lesnar.
@logant1990 Ya..i was impressed when he lifted shannon like that.I started to like him. :) He looks good too..When he 1st came to wwe, he looked somewhat slimmer as you can see him with undertaker. After some days he became huge as u can see him in the matches with shannon, chris benoit, kurt angle. He was 340 lbs.He quickly left wwe :( It was bad to see him taping to benoit.Well..its like that only in wwe...
@logant1990 I saw a video of him arm wrestling with Magnus Samuelson. He loses to Magnus. In the round 2,something happens to his arms. What is that ? I saw in that video description as --- Nathan spiral fractures his humerus verses Magnus. I mean..In arm wrestling, is it possible to happen ? or he already had a problem ?
@logant1990 You said -- Magnús Ver Magnússon (probably the strongest man on earth).I want to know who is the world's strongest man.The one who lifts more deadweight is considered strongest ? I have many confusions in this.
@logant1990 See this link -- criticalbenchdotcom/Mark-Henry.htm (There it is mentioned as Mark Henry - The Strongest Man That Ever Lived ) Squat 933 lbs and Deadlift 903lbs. Have anyone crossed that ?
The only man to lift some people in one hand is the Bigshow.Once i saw Bigshow lifted a guy(who was standing outside the ring) with one hand catching him from the top of his head from inside the ring. But i have never seen Bigshow lifting anyone with one hand who is lying down.I don't know if he can do that or not. Here is my list of strong wwe wrestlers - 1. Bigshow 2. Mark Henry 3. Nathan Jones. 4.Kevin Nash 5.Kane 6.Goldberg 7.Brock Lesnar
@logant1990 Nathan is younger in those strongman competitions. In wwe,he looked so huge.I think he would have beat Magnus if he returned to those competitions.
Well said. I liked Nathan Jones and thought there could be a lot of potential if he just improved in the ring, and I hoped that he would improve and get better, but it became pretty clear that he wasn't interested in wrestling. He just did not have that drive that Stone Cold, Kurt Angle or Ric Flair possessed. Like Bruce said, you can't teach that kind of work ethic to just anybody, you're either born with it or you'll never truly have it.
Nathan Jones couldve been something but it just didnt work out due to travelling issues. He had more potential to be a bigger star than Cena and could cut some pretty sick and realistic promos. I liked him and still reckon he can do better if he was to return.
I totally agree w/ Bruce Prichard 2 a point...Put some1 like Austin/Cena/Rock/et al's brain & love 4 the business in2 some1 like Nathan Jones's body...&...YOU'LL HAVE THE PERFECT WWE/TNA/ROF/ETC. SUPERSTAR...
Nathan Jones should have been given a title run...Jesse Ventura needs to investigate the conspiracy behind the WWE locker room doors that prevented that from happening...
It's funny how Prichard buries Nathan Jones for not having the desire, passion to be in the industry. Ok fine, whatever maybe he didn't but, Sheamus has the passion, determination and desire to be that 'guy' and what's been going on with him? He's been losing!!! Explain that Prichard...
@KindOfLikeDying, My point is if you can find things for Kali and Hornsswaggle to do, then why can't you also spend time building the young stars who bust there ass in the ring? guys like Shelton get fired because "creative has nothing for them" yet they can always find time to have a dance off with Kali or the midget or some terrible "land of the short people under the ring" segment. BTW I repsect your view and for the insight on why you started watching wrestling.
jones was awesome r u kidding me? but he left becus he didnt like the constant traveling in the wwe. which sucks tho cus you could tell that wwe was giving him a push
fuck wwe and the pg era i rather and by the way tna is fuckin better now u dumb prick. don't tell me what the fuck to watch and don't diss tna. yeah i hated tna but i always watch and now i like what i see. matt morgan will get his day just watch but don't judge me u idiot.
It's not just the guys that are like that. Stacy Keibler was the same thing (as well as most of the women WWE brought in for the Diva Searches). She had all the tools to blow Trish Stratus out of the water (looks, charisma, athletic ability ...) except one - she didn't care. She wanted to be an actress, not a wrestler.
@TheJohnnyCotts I could say the same thing about kelly kelly maryse bellas eve and layla they don't care they are just there for a paycheck they don't want to improve or be the next lita or trish stratus. Tbh maryse has looks mic skills fans reaction to be next trish stratus if she got more training and wanted to improved she could be there in 2 years.
@TheJohnnyCotts yeah i have a black belt in karate as well doesn't mean i would make a great wrestler either. It takes mic skills getting over big with crowd and improving in ring. I mean trish stratus wasn't a training wrestler who grafuated from stu hart dugeon and she turned out great as top divas it took her 3 years.
@MrDivalover1 A legit fight background can really help a person in-ring, but you're right in that personality helps. Bret Hart said in his book that a wrestler is judged on 3 things: look, promos and ringwork. In the 80's, you had to be able to wrestle beyond anything else. Since the Monday Night Wars, it's been more important for someone to be "entertaining" first, the belief being they can be trained to wrestle if they have the right look and personality.
@TheJohnnyCotts yeah maryse has the trish stratus hot sexy blonde bombshell looks and can get a okay crowd response. she needs help in ring if she is willing to go to fcw and listen and let fcw trainers kidman, prichard and dusty rhodes help her in ring we have the next trish stratuse on are hands then.
Why does WWE keep getting people just for looks, then act suprised when they don't work out? how many wrestlers with talent have been released because "creative had nothing for them", yet Kali and a fucking midget still have jobs? Kali can barely move or speak english and the midget will never raise PPV buyrates.
@TheDalinkwent I mean that is vince mcmahon for you. Just because you know how to do cartwheel and backflips as cheerleaders or wear a bikni does mean who can get over with fans and be golden in ring. kelly kelly bellas maryse layla may look hot but there are terrible in ring.
@Coldstonechampion, It simply amazes me that Morrison and Tyson Kidd spent 3 weeks off TV one time, because "creative had nothing for them", yet in that 3 weeks time they had 5 TERRIBLE segments involving Kali and the midget, they even put them in a tag team match together. That type of booking boggles the mind.
@TheDalinkwent That's because Vince likes it that way. He likes goods looks, he likes lots of muscles! if you don't look like what Vince has in his head of what a "WWE Superstar" should look like, then you are pretty much out looking for a job!
@amarieoflothlorien, I can understand Vince wanting a certain look, but he should take into account there actually has to be talent behind the look also. Vince thinks he can simply take any big guy and make him a star, but if the person is simply terrible and has no passion, it's all pointless.
@TheDalinkwent I know, but what Vince (and Stefanie/Triple H) want, they get. And they want goodlooking muscular people. Talent, dedication or a heart for the business? Not important!!! And they have to many ass kissers at Titan Towers. Nobody will them them that they could be wrong, because if you do you're out of a job!! So they keep quit, and the businesss suffers.
@TheDalinkwent THANK YOU!! its just that unfortunately, the top dogs in wwe are for some reason into the big muscle masses (see Brock Lesnar, Batista, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan, Lex Lugar, Hulk Hogan....)
@Edgehead10075, That wasn't my point. Many guys WITH TALENT, CHARISMA and actually were entertaining were fired because "creative had nothing for them", yet time is always found for Khali and the midget to do terrible segments that noone cares about. The midget got over because he was involved in a big storyline and was on T.V on a constant bases, yet many wrestlers who are barely on T.V, barely are given anything to work with are fired because they didn't get over. I wonder why that is?
@Edgehead10075, You missed the point. They used up massive amounts of time doing dumb shit that noone cared about when other guys could have been getting there mic skills up and getting involved in decent long term angles. I understand they aren't main even talent, but with a bloated roster, Vince needs to push guys that might actually effect ratings and buy rates. Vince wasted an entire segment of RAW on a "midgets court", yet told CM Punk they didn't have enough time for his promo.
@Edgehead10075, He's pushing them NOW, but when I wrote that first comment, Raw was still being dominated by guest host, the midget , Khali and Cena. CM Punk had been asking for a change for awhile and actually made the same points I did, he even thought about quitting the night his promo was cut because of the "midgets court" BS. I admit that Vince has really stepped it up in the last month. I actually look foward to Raw, but there's still much work to be done, Cena still bores me to tears.
@Edgehead10075, BTW Hope I didn't come off as a dick, I just had some flashbacks of what Raw use to be and got a bit emotional (LOL) It was unbearable for awhile.
@TheDalinkwent because the writers in WWe control wrestling now. Whereas during the 70's and 80's and some of the 90's, it was about talent and creativity. Even piper said recetnly that if he was in control of WWE he would fire the writers because wrestlers need to feel the matches, they need to feel there way through it, but vince is more concerned with selling action figures, dvds and t shirts that the wrestlers dont get to think, they just execute moves.
@22centman36, Very true! The talent should be in control of there promos and only given bullet points from creative to get the angle over. Hearing wrestlers struggle to remember the lines written by other people is painfull to listen to.
They brought him back as a heel in late 2003 as part of Paul Heyman's Team Lesnar stable. It looked like they were going to make him and Matt Morgan an official tag team but it never happened
Nathan certainly seemed like he had the athletic talent in the Zero-one Japanese vids. For some reason he really seemed uncomfortable being in front of a big crowd. If you notice he didn't much interaction with crowd, he treated his matches more like a movie fight.
In movies like Fearless and Protector he really seemed to have an acting talent. He has no problem interacting with a camera and a small group, but wrestling in arena isn't for everyone. Even as a 7ft bodybuilder.
i made a mistake originally it was a tag team match untill fbi attacked him junior. yeah tna a sinking ship i hate to tell you but i like tna and wwe so whatever. i just think bruce pritchard is a liar in my eyes. thats it. tna doesn't deserve to be disrespected so it shows you're ignorant and a complete waste of time.
@charismatic also wwe writing team in 2003 put nathan jones with undertaker as team undertaker working with him in 2003 for a while. I feel nathan jones didn't get over with wwe fans as heel just like luther reigns.
well he was well over 300 lbs. and a complete bad ass. he team with taker to beat show and a/train at wrestlemania 19. how do use misuse nathan jones he didn't have the drive. what about matt morgan he came in at the same time. 300 lbs as well. he team and buddys up with carlito and he stutters i thought that was goldusts gimmick. matt morgan is the future of tna and fuck anybody who doesn't believe that.
@SVSR2011 Morgan and Nate was once tag team. THe real problem is they didnt let Nathan be Nathan. They try to morph him into something he's not. The same with Kaval aka Low Ki. WWE should pushed Low Ki like they did with Sheamus.
@SVSR2011 no he didnt. that match was 2 on 1. my god research before typing stupidity. morgan sucks. this is why you could never make it in the business. your a complete fucking moron. stick to watching that sinking ship joke called tna and leave wrestling to the big boys junior.
@wcthesecret tna is not dead they have a great tag team and women's divison unlike wwe . tna went to nc and had 4,000 people who paid money for tickets. i would rather watch tna to see mickie james, madison, sarita angelina love, katie lea victoria who can wrestle and are book great than wwe models who suck.
@MisterOldSchool1 They bring in the big men because that's the look Vince likes. It's no small secret that Vince likes big men and is a bodybuilding nut.
That's why big guys with "the look" fail in the WWE. They keep getting guys that have the look, but that's all they do. Recruit a monster, but never look for whether the monster scared adults and kids, or if it only scared small animals. Bad metaphor, but you get the gist of it.

Nathan Jones did have a great look and back story, also he was pretty good on the mic. But it was clear that he didn't want to be a WWe wrestler. What a shame, he could have been something special if he wanted it.
Runforestrun 4 months ago 3
Nathan Jones was a competing power lifter for a number of years and placed high in a number of competitions. I doubt that it was the drive that was the problem, but the lifestyle of staying on the road for so long. The guy's great at choreography, I'm pretty sure he could have easily been one of their top contenders if he wanted to stick around. He's a hell of a lot faster and more athletic then any of the other guys his size in there.

i think he would have made it but i would have made him go to ovw to develope then come to wwe and make an impact

@XKonn What is More? My idea of doing more may be completely different to yours... Nathan Jones was capable and gifted in the square circle.

JonLambert89 8 months ago
@JonLambert89 i don't think it's a problem if Nathan Jones is actually the best Australia has to offer dude. He's probably the best wrestler overall in my opinion. He's got the size, the strength, the fitness ( his body was way better than batista), agility and the fearsome/ badass look on his face. People may say he doesn't have skills but actually, he wasn't given the time to improve it. Too bad wwe didnt use him right. You know, i actually came to like Australia mostly because of him.
logant1990 8 months ago
@logant1990 good point but I wasn't trying to criticise his wrestling mate. I've watched him wrestle outside of the WWE its clear how far he could have gone. My target was "World" Wrestling Entertainment for undermining a foreign star which they do too often. And Australian promotion IWA for not stepping up their game. Jones retired too soon. If he'd had his heart in it he wouldn't have quit WWE. The point is... Bruce Prichard is still a deadshit (idiot) for mistaking Australia for South Africa.
JonLambert89 8 months ago
@logant1990 You are right man..He wasnt given the time to improve it.Man, what a great physique he has Nathan should be stronger than goldberg and brock lesnar..
SameerPrehistorica 7 months ago
@SameerPrehistorica He IS stronger than Goldberg and Brock Lesnar in term of physical strength. He won 2 of the World Strength Championship, on championship from Australia and only once lost to Magnús Ver Magnússon (probably the strongest man on earth).Besides, in his match with shannon Moore, He lifted the guy up straight WITH ONE HAND while he was lying down and Shannon Moore weights around 200 pounds. Never seen anyone in WWE capable of doing that, not even Goldberg or Brock Lesnar.
logant1990 7 months ago
@logant1990 Ya..i was impressed when he lifted shannon like that.I started to like him. :) He looks good too..When he 1st came to wwe, he looked somewhat slimmer as you can see him with undertaker. After some days he became huge as u can see him in the matches with shannon, chris benoit, kurt angle. He was 340 lbs.He quickly left wwe :( It was bad to see him taping to benoit.Well..its like that only in wwe...

TheJohnnyCotts 1 year ago
@TheJohnnyCotts I could say the same thing about kelly kelly maryse bellas eve and layla they don't care they are just there for a paycheck they don't want to improve or be the next lita or trish stratus. Tbh maryse has looks mic skills fans reaction to be next trish stratus if she got more training and wanted to improved she could be there in 2 years.
MrDivalover1 1 year ago
@MrDivalover1 I'm actually surprised Maryse isn't better than she is in the ring - she has a martial arts background.
TheJohnnyCotts 1 year ago
@TheJohnnyCotts yeah i have a black belt in karate as well doesn't mean i would make a great wrestler either. It takes mic skills getting over big with crowd and improving in ring. I mean trish stratus wasn't a training wrestler who grafuated from stu hart dugeon and she turned out great as top divas it took her 3 years.
MrDivalover1 1 year ago
@MrDivalover1 A legit fight background can really help a person in-ring, but you're right in that personality helps. Bret Hart said in his book that a wrestler is judged on 3 things: look, promos and ringwork. In the 80's, you had to be able to wrestle beyond anything else. Since the Monday Night Wars, it's been more important for someone to be "entertaining" first, the belief being they can be trained to wrestle if they have the right look and personality.
TheJohnnyCotts 1 year ago
@TheJohnnyCotts yeah maryse has the trish stratus hot sexy blonde bombshell looks and can get a okay crowd response. she needs help in ring if she is willing to go to fcw and listen and let fcw trainers kidman, prichard and dusty rhodes help her in ring we have the next trish stratuse on are hands then.
MrDivalover1 1 year ago
Why does WWE keep getting people just for looks, then act suprised when they don't work out? how many wrestlers with talent have been released because "creative had nothing for them", yet Kali and a fucking midget still have jobs? Kali can barely move or speak english and the midget will never raise PPV buyrates.
TheDalinkwent 1 year ago 72
@TheDalinkwent I mean that is vince mcmahon for you. Just because you know how to do cartwheel and backflips as cheerleaders or wear a bikni does mean who can get over with fans and be golden in ring. kelly kelly bellas maryse layla may look hot but there are terrible in ring.
MrDivalover1 1 year ago
@TheDalinkwent because Vince is a fan of muscular guys and his daughter is in charge comedy booking which is why we have hornswoggle, and Khali
Coldstonechampion 1 year ago
@Coldstonechampion, It simply amazes me that Morrison and Tyson Kidd spent 3 weeks off TV one time, because "creative had nothing for them", yet in that 3 weeks time they had 5 TERRIBLE segments involving Kali and the midget, they even put them in a tag team match together. That type of booking boggles the mind.
TheDalinkwent 1 year ago
@TheDalinkwent the wrestlers usually get fired when the writers have noting for them which is bullshit
Coldstonechampion 1 year ago
@TheDalinkwent That's because Vince likes it that way. He likes goods looks, he likes lots of muscles! if you don't look like what Vince has in his head of what a "WWE Superstar" should look like, then you are pretty much out looking for a job!
amarieoflothlorien 11 months ago
@amarieoflothlorien, I can understand Vince wanting a certain look, but he should take into account there actually has to be talent behind the look also. Vince thinks he can simply take any big guy and make him a star, but if the person is simply terrible and has no passion, it's all pointless.
TheDalinkwent 11 months ago
@TheDalinkwent I know, but what Vince (and Stefanie/Triple H) want, they get. And they want goodlooking muscular people. Talent, dedication or a heart for the business? Not important!!! And they have to many ass kissers at Titan Towers. Nobody will them them that they could be wrong, because if you do you're out of a job!! So they keep quit, and the businesss suffers.

So everyone in the company should be someone who raises the buyrates? There'd only be a handful of people in the company then.
If creative has nothing for you, it's because you're a total bore with no charisma.
Edgehead10075 6 months ago
@Edgehead10075, That wasn't my point. Many guys WITH TALENT, CHARISMA and actually were entertaining were fired because "creative had nothing for them", yet time is always found for Khali and the midget to do terrible segments that noone cares about. The midget got over because he was involved in a big storyline and was on T.V on a constant bases, yet many wrestlers who are barely on T.V, barely are given anything to work with are fired because they didn't get over. I wonder why that is?
TheDalinkwent 6 months ago
@Edgehead10075, BTW if you're featured on T.V as much as Hornswaggle and Khali you SHOULD raise the buyrates or the ratings.
TheDalinkwent 6 months ago
The two of them are jabronis. You're acting like they're main event talent.
Edgehead10075 6 months ago
@Edgehead10075, You missed the point. They used up massive amounts of time doing dumb shit that noone cared about when other guys could have been getting there mic skills up and getting involved in decent long term angles. I understand they aren't main even talent, but with a bloated roster, Vince needs to push guys that might actually effect ratings and buy rates. Vince wasted an entire segment of RAW on a "midgets court", yet told CM Punk they didn't have enough time for his promo.
TheDalinkwent 6 months ago
I think that he does push them, though. WWE is doing great things with C.M. Punk right now.
Edgehead10075 6 months ago
@Edgehead10075, He's pushing them NOW, but when I wrote that first comment, Raw was still being dominated by guest host, the midget , Khali and Cena. CM Punk had been asking for a change for awhile and actually made the same points I did, he even thought about quitting the night his promo was cut because of the "midgets court" BS. I admit that Vince has really stepped it up in the last month. I actually look foward to Raw, but there's still much work to be done, Cena still bores me to tears.
TheDalinkwent 6 months ago
@Edgehead10075, BTW Hope I didn't come off as a dick, I just had some flashbacks of what Raw use to be and got a bit emotional (LOL) It was unbearable for awhile.
TheDalinkwent 6 months ago
@TheDalinkwent im with you on that brother
F5FURU12 6 months ago
@TheDalinkwent because the writers in WWe control wrestling now. Whereas during the 70's and 80's and some of the 90's, it was about talent and creativity. Even piper said recetnly that if he was in control of WWE he would fire the writers because wrestlers need to feel the matches, they need to feel there way through it, but vince is more concerned with selling action figures, dvds and t shirts that the wrestlers dont get to think, they just execute moves.
22centman36 6 months ago
@22centman36, Very true! The talent should be in control of there promos and only given bullet points from creative to get the angle over. Hearing wrestlers struggle to remember the lines written by other people is painfull to listen to.

That's why big guys with "the look" fail in the WWE. They keep getting guys that have the look, but that's all they do. Recruit a monster, but never look for whether the monster scared adults and kids, or if it only scared small animals. Bad metaphor, but you get the gist of it.
