All I need to say is that I'm proud to be Canadian and despite what people say, that fact will remain. I'm proud of the fact that polls say that America voted Canada as their favourite country, I'm proud of our "socialist" free health-care. I'm proud of our multicultural society - though it could use some improvements, surely. I'm proud of stupid stereotypes to give us something to laugh at (whether or not some of them are true, eh?). I'm just proud, no matter what anyone tells me. Go Canada!

I must add that I harbour no ill feeling towards Americans as people, there is good & bad wherever you go ~ even in Canada. But I'd rather embrace the good in people and avoid labels, prejudice, military power trips, & the banality of politics. If we all did that, you might find we'd be living in a much better world.

I am a Quebecer too.. nobody ever though i was a traitor for speaking English..!! WTF are you talking about lol You learn the language that you want... The fact is that in Québec territory we are speaking french as our first language so it's important that the french be strongly promoted to avoids that everything become advertised in english so unreadable for the majority of us....
