This looks like it's from the 80's sometime. As you can hear, Gary had lost the top of his range. The song, originally written and perfomed in E-flat, sounds like it may be performed in the key of C major here. In all the earlier live versions posted, I wonder if the guys really were plugged in, since flat keys are for orchestras, not guitars and bass. In his day, he was truely fabulous.

This looks like late 70's here.

Too bad he already lost some of his vocal range. This sounds like the key is a third lower than what he sang on Ed Sullivan Show. In the original key no man could sing along with him.

Tom Jones also changed the key on his more strenuous songs. Maybe these guys were baritones that pushed tenor, but it took its toll.
