  • I like this video...total disregard for irish culture and people.. besides the irish are uniformed of their history up the north. people do things in time of war they are not proud of but are left with no other alternative...Irish men and Irish wemon were living like second class citizens in their own country.!!!!

Don't believe all the bullshit they teach you in school and on RTE. our day will come and revolution is necessary in hard times...but irish people find it hard to think for themselves

  • You´ve got to be deeply ashamed of yourself to require such sordid nationalism. This type of dogshit could almost make me ashamed to be Irish. Thanks be that you´re just a loony fringe. Cyclops!

  • I have lived in Glasgow and Belfast and who has seen the hatred and troubles these Marches of intimidation bring ....

Why should we put up with it in our own capital....?

Could this march not be done in Belfast or London. why Dublin? why try intimidate locals who disagree with remember one side. FAIR or LOVE ULSTER only mournes the dead of one side ... Shouldn't all the dead be remembered... or should they just march where many irish men have died to add insult to injury..?

  • Really stupid and ignorant thicks love a simple narration of history - everything reduced to what they `feel´should be the case - everything fitted to their brain capacity, i suppose. This incident was embarassing and shows up huge problems in the Irish education system. One good thing about having alternative traditions on this island is that we cannot sink into dishonest complacency about the national myth in the same way that some other countries allow themselves.

  • tiocfaidh an lá mo chara.

  • so many irishmen suffered under the boot of the oppresser, ledgends all

  • i find it insulting and utterly baffling that you would even try to subscribe to the theory that the historical efforts of proud.passionate, and above all highly intelligent irish people in the uprising should be sullied by the drunken behaviour of robbers, thugs and degenerites with whom i wouldnt share a bus seat with, never mind the history of this country.how on earth can you call them proud irish men when they behave like english football hooligans?

  • 2016 is getting closer and the current Tyrranical government's days are numbered.

Saying Ulster is British is lke saying Fionn Mac Cool is the King of England, ya eejit, or you idiot, whichever the case may be.

  • strange you still believe that SF bull when Mcguiness and adams were trying to deny they said it.

  • Adams & McGuinness have nothing to do with it, Ulster is a province of ireland since??? all of the people of Ulster are classed as Irish by the English and whether you are Ian Paisly or Bertie Ahern or Van Morrison or U2, they are all Irish, Irish, irish and Irish. I have no problem with this classification but there are those who do in my opinion. Irish folklore is Irish Folklore and the "Hound of Ulster" and all that wasn't written by Mr. Shakespear, thats my point.

  • You mean the constant harrasment and raiding of nationalist homes, the sectarian and failed government are all okay because there ''IRISH IRISH IRISH'' and here was i thinking a pub education was a bad thing! LOL the RIC were irish irish irish too, what difference does that make? Seriously, ive enough of pub talk, i think ive heard all that nonsense enough now and it was funny at first but nows its just sad.

  • I was with ya there until you went to the pub, The RIC were commanded by English men some of whom met their maker in the civil war years after Michael Collins witnessed their bullybeef behavior towards the captured men of the 1916 rising, the ordinary men were Irish it was the same trick that was used in the landlord times when the rent collectors were the Gombeen men. The same trick is still in use the power is in England but the rest think it's here. Soccer is for Girls! men play football.

  • Hey, black people shouldnt protest against the KKK, because thats american bigotry and the africa americans are american as are the racists behind it! WOW your logic is amazing! hovel over your point now bhoyo and have a good owl moan about the government and do nothing.

  • @MrGerryodonothing Classification is not the problem.........

  • @MrGerryodonothing shame ger.total disregard for irish culture and people.. he irish are uniformed of their history up the north. people do things in time of war they are not proud of but are left with no other alternative...Irish men and Irish wemon were living like second class citizens in their own country.!!!! Don't believe all the bullshit they teach you in school and on RTE. our day will come and revolution is necessary in hard times...but irish people find it hard to think for themselves

  • The Love Ulster march played right into the hands of the Loyalist and Unionist people of Northern Ireland.

Ireland clams to be a country for everyone a nation that respects all cultures and faiths yet the Orange Order and victums of terrorism (no matter what terrorism) couldnt walk in peace.

The Republican movement messed up Dublin decent Irish people are slowly and have now turned their backs on Republicans thats why Sinn Fein and others dont do well in elections.

    Ulster is British

  • The victims of british terroism were out protesting. Infact theres a picture of one in this video with a banner saying that the UVF killed his brother. The ''Love ulster parade'' had names of the dublin and monghan bombers on there flags too. They are irelands equivalent to the KKK and you have the complete ignorence to talk about how the irish peole draged themselves down> BTW sinn fein are not republican, they are right wing sellouts.

  • why was there a need for UVF victums to protest just becuase IRA victums were out? That is sicking and very rude...the Unionist Protestant people are not the same as the Nationalists in Northern Ireland we have more respect....

First of all...we dont support the UVF or UDA they are terrorists on the other hand nearly all nationalists support the IRA that says it all..

If the victums of IRA troubles went to protest they should have been let protest in freedom..surely thats what Ireland is?

  • shut your fucking mouth british my bollex ireland for yhe irish num nuts

  • @51wins With your logic this means that there should be no issue holding a Nazi rally in Israel. There was no need for such a march and was not held for any other reason than to taunt the Irish people.

  • @seanlafferty

Difference is....the Orange Order which is a Christian Protestant organisation who is law abiding and part of Irish culture and history whether you like it or not is now a terrorist killing machine like the IRA or the Nazis.

Therefore in any decent society such an organisation could rightfully parade...but in a country with a loud minority of sectarian bigots such as Irish Republicans (not decent hard working Irish people) the result is rioting and destruction.

  • don't you think the loyalists have done enough to Ireland? its time for them to take their sorrows and march around in London and see if they can find anyone who cares there.

If you truly believe this is just, and you know all of Irelands history, then theres something wrong with you... doesn't matter though, a united ireland is inevitable.

  • ignorant.

The British Empire murdered Irish men, woman, and children for years and years until the ICA, and then these instigating morons come through DUBLIN, looking for sympathy for their lost? get the fuck out of here... the british could have ruled the world if they had some logic and morals.

  • MINES AN ORANGE CRUSH PLEASE

  • r.t.e./gardai/irish government dirty west brit huns

  • Oh, your English is simple, very simple indeed...

  • Luke Kelly and Patrick Kavanagh would be sad that their respective talents have been hijacked for the production of this pathetic attempt at propaganga.

  • Ehm mate I believe Luke Kelly one of Ireland's greatist musicians sang many a Irish rebel song. Some of his earliest songs include 'Join The Britsh Army (looking for monkeys up in the zoo) and A Nation Once Again so I believe he would have be happy to see possibly his greatist song used in the context of Irish struggle against Britsih Ignorance.

  • note the word 'mostly'

  • NICE SONG. NICE SENTIMENT

  • i didn't see any middle-class irish ppl getting stuck in

no- when it comes to fighting against that which threatens this island - it'll always be the poorer in society that will mostly take to the streets

coz they are the ones who are mostly always affected

  • that bus should have never made it to dublin ,but wat can ye expect from the yellow mullaghs that the bus drove passed on the way down here ,leave it to the dubs to drive the brits out yet again!!

  • im personaly suprised it made it over the border without being set alight :-/

its a shame that they were even alowed to do that by th irish goverment

but once again just like every generation of irish people before them they resisted brittian and her minions

  • good man thuglordrpt u tell them

  • i was there with my father!!!no orange feet on o connell street.never!!

  • To the IRA leave The Republic of Ireland Alone please please leave us alone!!!!!!!!!!

  • To the British goverment, leave Ireland alone! please please please leave us alone! 800 years is enough!

  • thair wouldnt be a republic withouth them ye fool

  • I was with a Korean friend that day, it his first time in the capital and it made me ashmed to be Irish. Thick bastards engaged in a bit of flag desecration too by wearing the tricolour as kerchief round their mouths and trailing it on the ground. Don't know what i hate more, Orange triumphalism or guttersnipe nationalism. Anyway the Gardai were naive to think something wouldn't kick off......

  • How dare you slant the working class? ''The Irish working class have remained the incorruptible inheritors of the Irish fight for freedom'' - james connolly. I was proud to see my countrymen, defend the streets and protest there disgust in the form of civil dis-obedience. Those ''love ulster parade'' members carried banners with Dead UVF mens names on them, one UVF man they had on a banner was the same who planted the dublin/monaghan bombs on behalf of british army unit MRF!! MORON!!

  • ye well you should get out off ireland dose bastards done that for years when ever they got the chance and the irish were being called the scum they got what they deserved the cowards and if the poilice wanted respect they should have done the same

  • Quite grotesque that your comparing the high ideals that birthed the insurrection of 1916 to an orgiastic display of scumbaggery that overtook Dublin . A group of disenfranchised, marginalised youths from impoverished areas of the city looking for an excuse to take out their frustrations on (and throw bottles of their piss at ) the Gardai has nothing to do with the brave men of 1916.

  • whats grotesque is your narrow minded view from what appears to be another bar-hopper and i bet you describe yourself as a ''constitutional nationalist'', indeed your one moncule of an ignorent mass of naive middle class looking down on the working class trying to re-tain your 09 car so the neighbours wont think less of you. You are a product of capitalist greed and the so called ''celtic tiger'', in short, you do not posses a mind of your own, how dare you downgrade my countrymen!

  • yeaahhh......

the men of 1916 were also despised and spat at on that easter morning by the majority of Dubliners to well-to-do to upset their cosy existence

freedom and defence thereof is always mostly fought for by those it affects the most....the poor and 'disenfranchised'

such 'disenfranchisement' had also nothing to do with the men of 1916 - you can thank the corruption of one sly, out-the-back door Bertie Ahern for that

  • Asrith19. I got news for u. I and around 1 million people like me are Brits, live on this island and wont be wished away. Take off your blinkers

  • Fuck the Brits!!!!! Irish control give us back our Island It's Ireland NOT ENGLAND so Brits GET THE HELL OUT OF IRELAND!!!!!!!

  • Rid of the IRA

  • Rid of the british rule.

  • that wee bastard frazer got his arse well warmed that day the piecce of shit

  • no loyalist feet on oconnell street, fair play to the dubs for sending the orange scum back to the shankhill with shit stains in their pants, keep the fuck out of ireland you loyalist bastards,Tiocfaidh ar la.

  • they were scumbags..knackers. most people in dublin didnt care....i don't like what they stand for but i respect their right to demonstrate.

  • i didnt.. they didnt respect our rights.

  • The march was a bad idea, unionists should try and be more aware of the their roll in the peace process. and taunting republicans by waving unionist banners on the streets of Dublin was insensitive provocative and foolish.

Never, never, never again will the British treat the Irish with indifference.

I think all the unionists should emigrate to India or Africa maybe but defiantly somewhere far far away.

  • Its called raglan Road, a poem wrote by peter kavanagh, who sold it for a few pints in a pub after scribbling down in a nearby park. He asked for it to be sung by the now dead by Hugly iconic irish folk singer, Luke Kelly. This is his version, but it is also sung by mary black and van morrision and many others. Glad you enoyed it :)

  • lol i just realised i called him ''peter kavangh'' lol why the fuck did i write that name down lol

  • Im from Armagh and i say job well done for not letting them orange bastards march the street where so many died fighting against british oppression. Half of them orangemen are loyalist paras that most like likely hav killed someone just because they are Irish. They hate everything Irish they just wanted to cause a steer. Well done yas made your point and not to many fellow Irishmen in the garda got hurt. Mind you its a different story up here lol

  • the same way 'we' hate veeryone british. whats the difference?

  • more bullshit of the highest degree, there were no flags with the names of the UVF members that bombed Dublin and Monaghan. Yet again Republicans need to lie to try and excuse their disgraceful behaviour.

  • the orangemen were invited to show the open mindedness of the irish people. Personally i think ireland should still be able to retaken by hostile take over........as for not letting an orange step in dublin, i troop up and down there all the time....God save the Queen

  • those banners borse the names of the dublin and monghan bomber who killed 33 people along with other UVF volunteers...You think its ''open minded'' to parade the names of the dead enemy?? What if the Nazis paraded in israel the names of Nazis who exterminated jews??? Does that make sense??

  • as an irishman, and a proud descendant of ira men, i'd just like to comment that the people involved in this were a disgrace to themselves and a pathetic embarrassment to the rest of us

  • dont you agree they done their ''duty'' (even most just wanted to rob and steal alot naturaly wanted to stop the parade). The parade dident go ahead, the people showed the bruits and irish disgrace fo a goverment that they will not settle for such insanity as anti-irish anti-catholics marched those streets where men died to prevent the brits from marching there agiainn, dont you agree??

  • Not at all.

  • Well i obviously disagree, so we'll live it there because im not in the modd right now to get into an arguement.

  • Oh and just to let you know, the march had banners with the names of dead UVF men, such as the men who done the dublin and monaghan bombings.

  • there will never be peace in ireland i know it.but ill stand up and fight hoping that there will be a full free ireland one day.and i wish that the ira was not all like they are today. i wish they were the old ira were they had respect and didnt kill innocent people but fought for what was theirs.

  • The old IRA were called terrorists and murder's too. Did you know that when sean treacy and dan breen with others killed the first two RIC men of the war, one was a harmless friendly man helpful to catholics, the other was a widow with seven children.... OF course it is very tragic, as alot of modern IRA killings where tragic too, but war is ment to be tragic.

  • great video..

britain will never have any place in ireland north or south...

  • whom was the garda acting against?

The dublin citizens or the orange ?

  • the irish people prevented the orange march from marching one step!!! ahahahahaha the gardai had to look like they were preventing in, when in truth they were just acting LOL

  • Good vid. Shows the fight is not over. Thanks for posting.

  • ya know..i may not agree with the destruction caused but im glad that we took a stand against theese loyalist terrorists who marched through our glorious city where men fought and died against english troops all those years ago....

theese parades belong in the scumbag bitogted racist north of ireland

  • ulster is an IRISH provence from ancient times fucking dumbass.......

  • Like Ulster isnt a kip full of grafitti, Bigots etc etc
