Norm Coleman only got into office running as a Democratic mayor of heavily Democratic St. Paul. He changed parties when it was politically expedient. He got his ass handed to him on a sling by Jesse the Bod, and the little dweeb Humphrey, finishing 3rd. He then had the good fortune to have Wellstone's plane go down 4 days before the election. This slimeball has no morals, no backbone, and is a sheer opportunist.
all republicans need voting out this next election, the republicans ruled the offices of the presidency, congress, senate, legislature the first 6 years of the bush/cheney regime, & look at the trouble America is in, we need to remove the scum from all political postions, vote democrat all the way, right down to your states governor. here in MN we have tim paulenty, republican, the man who vetoed a bill for road & bridge repair here in MN, & then has a major bridge go down shortly after his veto.
You talk about "bridging the partisan divide" but you've joined the Roadblock Republicans in the strategy to obstruct legislation at all costs to make voters think that Democrats are failing to get anything done in Congress.
Shameful. Just shameful. How dare you put your political partisanship ahead of America's needs. You deserve to lose this election based on this alone. When you add it to the many blind rubber stamps of the Bush agenda, it's absurd. Time to go, Norm.
Norm, this message says absolutely nothing about what you would do. Nothing. You just say that it's important to do things. Agreed. But it's not just doing "things" it's doing the right things. You've chosen time and again to do the wrong things for Minnesotans and the wrong things for the country. Our infrastructure is crumbling, our economy is in disarray, and these wars are costing hundreds of billions. Yet, you've rubber stamped Bush's agenda the whole way. Time for you to.
Bush could never do what he's done without the unflagging effort of Norm and dozens of other white-toothy-smiling guys just like him. OK, when you talk to him in a room full of people, he may smile and gaze over your shoulder in case there is someone more important there. But, who doesn't think that's exactly what our country needs right now. Right? People??
Unfortunately, the criticism of this video is correct.
He is not going to win by mouthing the same silly platitudes that Franken is going to put forth. Liberal Minnesota will vote for Franken because of his banal platitudes.
They will not vote for Senator Coleman on the same basis.
Boy, that sure doesn't sound like a Minnesotan accent.
And if I understand correctly, Coleman's major policy proposal here is that, at all times, someone be around, hidden in a bush and plucking an acoustic guitar.
#1 just saw this ad on local TV last night (Friday).
#2 for those that voted up to -3, my comment was a combination sarcasm and illuminating the unconscious message you are supposed to take away from this ad. It's psychology people.
#3 summer, I'm pretty sure all of the canadates get teeth whitening and botox/face lifts. Again for the benefit of looking better on camera and given the unconscious bias towards better looking people.

Norm Coleman is nothing but a Republican talking head trying to help whatever the hell Bush is talking about seem relatively plausible.
Which fails miserably, but he still does it.

Coleman & Bush = Working Together.

I'm supporting Norm for two reasons:
1. I want a senator who votes the wrong way on nearly every bill for 5 years but then makes a 180-degree turn for the election year;
2. I want a senator who takes no action to hold the president accountable for illegal activities, no matter how egregious.
I'm for Norm 110%!!

Norm Coleman brings a record of honest service to the people of Minnesota. I am recommending the Senator to all of my friends and acquaintances.

"Shared vision" as long as it absolutely agrees with the Republican talking points.
Norm Coleman, desparate loser candidate.

I think by "common vision" he means, "we all need to work together to support the profit margins of pharmaceutical companies."
