  • To jest piękne ,brzmi jak bajka - niech trwa !.

  • ONLY WORD.......A M A Z I N G !!!!!

  • awww shit check it out baby!

  • le + progressif de Tangerine dream, pour moi, le meilleur !

  • Saw these twice in 1975 when they released Ricochet album, they had what i describe as a large old telephone swichboard plugging in connectors and a large looping tape at one end but the sound was briliant well it was 36 yrs ago

  • Nice to see TD referencing : La Follia (Violin Sonata in D Minor Op-5 No12) by Arcangelo Corelli.

  • fantastic album and band... heard them first when i was 14 ........they were/are way ahead of their time!

  • This is fantastic stuff. I'm only familiar with Phaedra which is amazing too.

  • Bought this when it first came out on vinyl. Still have copy. Fantastic track :)

  • Not heard this before, it really is great.

  • Christ, this really does stand the test of time......almost 40 years old, and still brilliant.

  • 1.30 :))))))

  • I guess three people don't like real music! great music and video

  • Another great TD track.

  • The atmospheric EBM/Industrial artist "Forma Tadre" created his name by combining the first few letters of each word in this song title, and band name.

  • Wonderful stuff I Love The Force majeure Album!! anybody who says its not real music, well just listen to it! anything that sounds so wonderful and powerful is 100% music to the ears, what difference how it was created, created it was and wether conventional instruments are used or not used , matters not!! ;) well done TD

  • Mesmerising

  • I bought this LP-record in 1989. Still rembemner what I did during that period of time.

  • the bside to this lp is mind blowing and I listen to alot of modern electronic music !!!

  • Force Majeure part 2 of course, one of my favourite 1979 melody... growing and changing around, thanks for video

  • very very nice magnificent ***** 555555 bravo

  • A lot of purists don't like this album, but I can't for the life of me understand why.

No, it's not Phaedra, but it's still incredibly beautiful music in it's own right, and shows that Edgar and Chris had awesome magic during this period.

  • I was so sceptic about Force Majeure album. I thought that nothing could be better than Phaedra or Rubycon. But now this track is the best music I have ever heard. It is so good at some points that it is almost painful.

  • @default1976 Makes the hair go up on my neck and arms even after all this time

  • od kiedy to powstało jest dla mnie - jak wszystko z Tangerine D.- klasykiem....... Dzięki Wam za to....

  • Two people can't handle the Major Force.

And anyhow, Tangerine Dream is amazing!

  • SIMPLY ASTOUNDING.

I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS WAS

    THEY ARE LEGENDS

  • I love TD melodies. they're awesome. XD

  • this is my favorite piece of music that is not classical music of all time... not sure why its such an incredible evocation of emergence of structure out of chaos...

  • I remember walking across someones room...don't know where... can't remember. I heard that bell at 1:29 seconds into this.

I stopped dead in my tracks! I just listened. Couldn't stop!

    I asked, "Who is that?"

    "Tangerine Dream."

I look at the label as it went around and round on the LP until I made out "Force Majeure." That was the next album I picked up...the rest of My TD collection is history for me...

  • otherworldly

  • This is where it started. My love of TD. Got most of the street vibrating to this with my Wharfedales and a Leak valve amp. Still got it all 30 years on. Sounds a whole lot better than mp3, cd, dvd downloaded digitally.compressed to buggery Give me vinyl and I'll try to show the depth and space from enormous speakers and an amp from the ark. Pure analogue

  • I drove into a pond listening to this!!!

  • What memories ::))

  • Mein Einstieg

  • Siempre me ha cautivado el sonido hipnótico de T.D. Música de las esferas, una dentro de la otra. Cada teclado y sampler interpreta su melodía, donde produce un efecto sinérgico y del conjunto de melodías surge un mayor.

  • This is awesome stuff( =music).XD

  • The track starts out promising and epic, but 4 min in it starts to show a lack of coherence, and feels more like a fusion track, with alot of dull melodies

  • This has the style of Tangerine Dream, but not the substance.

It starts out like a lot of TD, but I started questioning the track beginning with the progression at 3:44, but at 5:54, we clearly hit the ridiculous point of no return. If you use music like this in an ironic scene in a dystopian film, OK, but on its own, it borders on self-parody.

I'll stick with Phaedra, Zeit, Ricochet and Stratosfear - even Cyclone, but not this. This screams of the loathsome New Age music that had yet to come.

  • one of the best part of the title force majeur (after the old vapor train as pass...part 2) really one of their best tune I believe. Can put you in a trance, without any other substance help, and I really like this old analog sounds and string machines better then most of the new cold without life. And this theme is wonderful with peace, its lightning us, video fits very well. thanks

  • Tangerine Dream, when electronica music really made you different, no techno clubs or raves. You were called new age. Music of the future. Now you go to any club, and its electro dance. This early music started it all. Might sound retro, but give TD respect. Amazing what they could do with primitive synths and sequencers at the time.

  • sounds pretty depressing

  • what power in this track!

  • wow this takes me back. i used to have this album on clear vinal in about 1979. Music had tunes then not just talentless idiots "rapping"

  • 3:40 :-)

  • @luk0dab 5:54 is also quite a mood change, lol! Love that piece and 'thru metamorphic rocks'. Classics.

  • pink floydish perhaps

  • the old musique of tangerine dream is the best!

  • Thanks for the share. This is my all time favorite of TD :)

    5***** added to Favs

  • Pure magic

  • this is depeche model band not apple orange..

  • sounds medieval. like something from a soundtrack to a fantasy film.

  • Sounds nothing at all like actual medieval music. There seems to be some influence from the Romantic era, though, and a little bit from Classical & Baroque periods. But mostly from a more modern period.

  • it continues being one of the best electronic songs

  • TD based the last bit of FM on La Follia (Violin Sonata in D Minor Op-5 No12) composed by Arcangelo Corelli.

  • 30 years old, but just beautiful, this was the start of modern electronica/industrial and electro/dark music and techno stuff. And though done with synths, they needed to sequence the tapes and stuff, which made recording just as difficult as a live performance. Now one person with a computer can run mutli synths and virtual drum machines on a virtual sequencer. It took alot of work to make music like this with the tech in the 70's. As you still worked with tapes, and not RAM data from a HD.

  • No 100% true....Edgar used one of the first Roland Microcomposer digital sequencers on this. But I agree with the rest :)

  • the best right here <3

  • My favourite TD album what a track this is. Lay in bed lights off music in the headphones happy days!

  • I'm too, and this since 1979!!

  • @DeanMeredithMusic yeah bro, lay in bed, lights off, music in the headphones, smoking a joint, a hot teen polishing the knob, praying to satan.....that's what its all about.

  • Wonderful graphics by the way. Really suit the music well... Thanks for sharing!

  • ....you try to tell people how woderfull this album is,but they just don't understand....

  • This is one of my favorite TD albums... This, "Poland", and "LIve Miles" are for me TD at their all-time very best!

  • lo tengo questo lp, è favoloso. Davvero ben fatto, con un sound molto spaziale!

    Allucinante

  • i like the red triangle effect like remastered Tangram cover is ^_

  • This is a music beauty and timeless masterwork.

  • can you categorize TD's music as a more modern & evolved version of what classical music used to mean for its contemporary ears back in the 1700s??

  • like Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" for instance?!

  • i think so,yes.

  • I would - there are lot of haters who say it's not real music. Rubbish - it's just played on modern instruments :)

  • @electroandvocals they dont know what there on about

  • @123Owey

Everyone has their own tastes! :)

  • @electroandvocals It is more than real to me. = )

  • Świetnie kończy się ten utworek!

  • Tangerine Dream are pioners of electronic music and legend at the same time

  • Wonderful electronic music...

  • Tangerine Dream's 2 biggest albums[Ricochet& Force Majeure] are (for)ever-green imho. They'll still be listened to in 200 yrs. time!

  • As per your comment on the description, this is actualy the title track "Force Majeure",& what a wonderful track it is...Thanks for posting!

  • - thanks for putting the record straight.
