Not true. Death is not awarded at the end of the game :) I found it after I found all the horses. Death is found in tall trees in the ravine thingy

Pestilence was the first horse I found, and when I got hold of war, it dissapeared....And then War ran away when I was saving a town....And now all I can ride are Undead Horses, and the normal one....:(

Ok so I had 1 of the 4 Horses, War, and it was all awesome until one day I was saving a town and when I called it because I was finished, an Undead Horse came instead of MY horse! Then I killed the Undead Horse and called again, and a living horse came...Did I loose War or can i get it back? PLEASE someone answer I have no clue where it is. Yes, I am new to Undead Nightmare AND Red Dead Redemption, thats why I am so lost and I do not know where to find it.

@NTMD5 The same thing happened to me, I just assumed it had got scared by the gunshots and run off the edge of a cliff and died or something like that, you will probably have to go and find one of the other 3 horses until your get War's blood pact when you have finished the 4 horses challenge

I found Pestilence on the plains just northwest of Blackwater around the train tracks area at the start of the game, then I went back to the same area just before the second-last story mission and found Death in exactly the same place (after already taming War & Famine of course)

Trivia: Famine is the fastest, and pestilence has the most health. They got special abilities too! :P Also, maybe a game glitch, but after attacking pestilence enemies tend to run away...

Weird, my WAR (Flaming horse) has been killed about 6 or 7 times now so far and he respawns when I whistle about a minute later. I even shot him once because the dumb ass kept blocking my shot. xD

Guys, War and death are easy to see the difference, but for Famine and penisele (yeah I can't get that right) it a little hard. One of them has a gas around them and the other just has flys around it you can hear. If you want all of them, you need to have all the other horses before you finish the game. When you get death at the end, there should be a challenge with the horse death. You need to run over every zombie type (Regular, the spitter thing, and the charging one). Then you get them all.

i dont know if this helps anyone, but i found Death wandering around in Mexico in the time before Mother Superior searches for the cure, somewhere around the middle of mexico halfway between the river and the map edge... i know its not specific. i've also heard its where u kill the chupacabra and find the unicorn too. (not very specific either) near El Presido

i found two of the same horse and they are both the undead horse. why are there two of them. (they have nothing to do with the apocalypse horses) and one does what its supposed to and dosnt follow directions and swerves but the other goes excactly where i want it to ???? WTF is going on????

Sorry this may sound really stupid to most of you i know that undead nightmare is like an exspansion of Red Dead Redemption but can you play Undead Nightmare without Read Dead Redemption . Because i've finally found Undead Nightmare in stock, and i'm still looking for Red Dead Redemption but no where has it stocked.

@chidders98 That is possible if you buy the Undead standalone disc, however, you wont get the great Red Dead Redemption singleplayer. Also you get the multiplayer with the Undead disc, so that's a plus, I guess.=)

@zeldafreak888 I think you have to beat the game, do Death's challenges and then recapture War. Then you can get the bloodpact for war and summon him at any time. I hope this helps. :)

@kingsizecrunchy Yes, Great choice for getting this game too! I just got 60% of it finished which is like the entire storyline and so far i have gotten death,war,and famine. So if its not clear, you loose the horse if you get a new mount, but unless you complete the horse challenge and get all the blood pacts you stuck with the new horse.

the way to get a chalenge for a apocalypse horse is to not press the gallop controle fast just press it every 3 times the horse gallops and then you will earn its loyalty and its loyalty comes with a deed "blood pact".

ok here are a few tips war is found all over america he is not in a specific area famine is found anywhere in mexico not in a specific area pestilence is the easiest he does roam the tall trees death will roam anywhere or you can get hin from the end of the game you get blood pacts by killing one of each undead type with death (its the last horses of the apoclypse challenge) and the unicorn will not have a blue rader area around you have to find it with your sight its found by the map marker ...

@MrVideorev Pestilence is the easiest way to do it, but it's not impossible or even very hard to do it with a torch. Begin with scoping out how many rounds with a specific weapon it will take you to kill said animal, then shoot one bullet less and let the fire do it's work while you run away ofc.
