  • We (husband and I) have been juicing for breakfast every morning and eating mostly raw veg/greens and rice/gluten free pasta the rest of the day. I'm wanting to do a juice fast ...I've found your videos very inspiring and informative. Question...how many stalks of celery do you add to your juice? And do you add it to every meal? Tx!

  • I love the Tshirt. Where'd you get it?? Also, I'm on day 4 Tim, and I feel really great. My hubby who went on the 3 day stopped today because it's his birthday! Good grief, as fat as we are, I think he could forego a "birthday dinner." But, I won't be dining with him! I'm convinced after looking at your vids that I can heal my body from high blood pressure, borderline diabetes and depression. I've lost 6.5 lbs and using mostly celery, carrots, cukes, & ginger. Thank you for your help

  • i was wondering if you thought warming up the juice is a big no no. On day 4 and its cold out :) excellent videos

  • @timeout0000 Warming food or vegetables tend to kill at least some of the vitamins and minerals, but probably it might be ok to do some time. I would not do it to often. I do recall wanting something warm from time to time though! thanks for dropping by.

  • Yes, I do have a plan for how to end my fast. I follow the book written by Paavo Airola, "How to Keep Slim, Healthy and Young with Juice Fasting". It has good instrucitons. Keep the videos coming. Love to watch and listen. Cheers.

    You are doing great! I am down about 18 pounds and doing well. I would recommend Dr. Joel Fuhrman's "Eat to Live" program for a way of eating after the juice fast. I had great success with maintaining my weight after my last juice fast, until I started to misbehave. Not going to do that this time.

  • I know 100% what you mean about being frustrated with no weight loss. Before I started my fast I was working out at least 5 days a week. In one month I've lost only 2 lbs. That's frustrating. I was doing the whole counting calories and still not getting anywhere. The movie Fat, Sick, and Nearly dead popped up on my Netflix and I said 'meh what the heck' and watched it. Then there in the related movies was the documentary "Food Matters" and both those docs made me decide to juice.

  • @mGaUuRiL I definitely can relate to what happened to you, it really was frustrating doing the "hard work" and not getting the reward (weight loss). I haven't seen Food matters yet must take a look. Isn't it great losing weight like we are? So wonderful and I love it!

  • @overwhelmingtraffic I am feeling fantastic! It is great losing weight, I love it too!! I feel better, my workouts are getting easier and I'm finding my clothes fitting me bigger now days! I have my plan for getting off my fast. I'm looking into making my own veggie burgers (I found this YUMMY looking recipe with portabella mushrooms and avocado) No processed junk and not much meat. Except chicken/fish but not on a daily basis.

  • @mGaUuRiL Yes this is one addiction I am happy with (losing weight!) Great idea about the veggie burgers! Sounds very nice, and before I started the juice fast I would not have said that!

  • Hey Tim keep up the good work,

    me and my mate are on day 4 and were keeping each other motivated with your videos, don't have cravings but I find that smells of food are more intense.

    Having a lot of veg juice cucumber, celerey, spinach, rainbow chard/silverbeat, kale, mint, beets & carrots masked with lemon or ginger goes down well!

    Goal to loose 16kg in 28 days, 3.3kg down in 4 days.

  • @dab0o Thanks for stopping by and the kind words. Glad to hear you are getting something out of the videos. I can only re-inforce it gets easier the longer you stick to it. The juice you are making sounds nice and lots of vegetable content so will help with faster weight loss. 3.3Kg in 4 days is a great start!!
