Love those Eagle unis. I think they wore them for about three years before reverting. The astroturf of Vet Stadium, Soldier Field, etc. in those days was turf with a thin pad underneath, over ASPHALT.

Second - how in the world did pro sports allow for astro turf to be used for 30+ yrs?
