That's why they have to be on their toes, because Sikhs know that they will be attacked from those who don't want them around. Sorry for the long mesage buddy, but thought I'd let you know why Sikhs behave like this.

Sikhs = Buddhists / christianity... they are like saints, hec, if you watch cartoons such as dragonball z you'd see a character namely piccolo who wears a turban, it just another spiritual thing. It doesn't mean they are arabic.

I guess, the sikhs have been on alert with propoganda from the Hindu parties of Indian Government that are corrupt. (Not against hindus, but the ones in power want to wipe out sikhs). Or they make things up.

I guess the reason why SIkhs acted in such a manner is because, the Indian Government has betrayed the Sikhs many times,  when,. the dark times, when mughal empire in India were attacking India, the sikh gurus had to save the hindus and all other religions to preserve peace in the country.

A side note; someone mentioned to me this; The soldiers pissing on those bodies possibly was their way of dehumanizing them. Not saying it was the right thing to do, because it wasn't.

We have horrible cases of PTSD/post traumatic stress disorder because of having to be kill, and/or being shot at.

I don't know what the answer is.

Thank God we no longer mistreat returning military like we did in the 1960's-1970's.
