@hwaj5300 .....HEY HWAJ5300 ! PHILLY IS ALWAYS A GREAT DOO WOP TOWN....I WAS BORN, RAISED IN THE SOUTH BRONX.....PLEASE SAY YOU WANT TO....WAS IN ALL THE JUKEBOXES AND RADIO......BOUGHT THE 45, FLIPPED IT OVER BUT NEVER APPRECIATED SHIRLEY UNTIL NOW....LIKE GOOD WINE WE APPRECIATE AS TIME GOES ON !
Hi,hwaj5300 the song Shirley, which i never heard of before is really a good moving song amd well done. By the way where can i meet Shirley, i need a girlfriend like her?
Her name is Ali Larter I do believe she is from New Jeresey. She is one of the many stars on "Heros" a long running show my son has purchased the second season of. I also agree she is "D Y N O M I T E......
THanks for asking I will do another soon featuring her.
This rather-obscure group from Harlem had some mild success for a short time, primarily on the R&B charts. The group consisted of Leslie Martin (lead), Roger Hayes (tenor), James McKay (baritone) and Renaldo Gamble (bass). As stated previously, the flip side, "Please Say You Want Me," went to No. 13 on the R&B charts while Shirley reached No. 15 in early 1957. The group broke up soon afterwards.
Thank you for your subscription and comment. you are welcome I only hope I can find others that will affect you in the same way If you haven't yet give a listen to the other side also on my site
