He specifically says in the video, "'til white pixel appears in upper left corner." By that he means in the upper left OF THE MONITER, not the minesweeper window. make sure you have your moniter set up right so that the "upper left" isn't off the side or top of the screen. I tried it, and it DOES work!

P.S. My best minesweeper record on beginner is about 5-9 seconds (I can't remember exactly).

i don't know if there is a difference between a english and a german keybord...i have a german one and i have to press xyzzy then the key above the enter-key ( sorry, but i don't know the name xD ) and then the shift-key...you should have a dark desktop and then you will see the dark pixel
