-a 3 channel radio means the heli can do 3 functions:up/down,turn left/right and forward/backwards

-a 4 channel radio means ofc the heli can do 4 functions!!:up/down,turn left/right,forward backwards AND ROLL LEFT/RIGHT!!hope that halped... :)
