  • DES Knaben Wunderhorn. It's the Genitive case.

  • @HonoraryCheesehead Thanks! I've corrected the error.

  • Excellent clip, thank you so much!!!!

  • kittens :) i think they match well, the music has a bouncy silliness to it that reminds me of a little bouncy kitten. and they are cute, just like the music :)

  • @Vickie183 Thank you, Vickie!

  • Mahler and kittens on a Sunday morning.........

  • haha @ kittens... @_@

  • @terrixturmoil kittens! kittens! kittens!

  • Great performance. Nice pictures. Peculiar combination.

  • Yes, I like the peculiar. Good word!

  • Mahler is also my favorite composer! It's interesting that the Third Symphony's 3rd movement -- which is based on THIS song, was subtitled by Mahler "What the Animals Tell Me", so these kitten pics are PERFECT for this music!

  • Thank you so much!

  • Mahler used this lied at the 3th movement of his 3th symphony

  • I can't decide which this makes me want to kill worse - German people or kittens. Either way, I'm downright homicidal and thanks for that. If they remade A Clockwork Orange, I'm sure the protagonist would have his eyelids pinned open and be forced to watch this.

  • Best comment i ever got!

  • LOL in a big way!!!!

  • @TheodoricII it's a shame it does not make you suicidal, instead.

  • Playful kittens, and nicely fitting music. 5* :) (Are those your kittens?)

  • A close friend sent me these pics, and I thought they were so cute and well-photographed that I wanted to make a video of them, and when I found a song from my favorite composer that went so well with them, I was overjoyed! Thank you for your comment!

  • your kittens are so cute I want to eat them!

  • Yes, they are! A friend's mom once said to me, "why don't you write HAPPY poems?" I was upset by her comment at the time, but now, thirty years later, I finally did - through video. I'm pleased that it came about spontaneously - and, as the poet said, "as naturally as leaves to a tree."
