hahah gotta love the hick ass sports commentators talking about football the whole entire time and then mentioning the fact that the georgia kid is motionless on the ground...god bless america
@apureterror only because they play in the strongest conference in football. ask Ohio State to play LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee in 4 consecutive weeks. I bet Ohio State couldn't even beat Vanderbilt on the road.
put Kentucky in the big-10 to play the REAL garbage. Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, NWestern, and Minnesota
hell, put them in the Pac-10 and they go to the rose bowl every year.
yes, they are average in the SEC, but even that's a championship team in any other conference...
i was just loking at some of the comments and some DUMBASS called this an illegal hit. i'm a defensive linemen myself and he hit him right on the nimbers and knocked his ass out
To all those saying this is an "illegal" hit, its not. Football is a hard hitting sport and sometimes things go wrong. It was a good clean hard hit by pryor. If u cant take hard hits, dont play football.
Braxton Kelly made head to head contact, Raley was out BEFORE his head hit the ground. Georgia filed a formal complaint due to that and there was another uncalled head-to-head contact on QB Stafford in that game as well. I guess it bothers me that a man is lucky to be alive and everyone is celebrating it. Celebrate big hits when everything about the play is within the rules and when the person is okay. Not when someone's life is changed because of it.
As we get ready to start another football season, it's too bad no one wants to remember it was an ILLEGAL hit and UK should have been penalized. It's an issue across the SEC and college football, not just UK, but the head-to-head contact rules were put in place for a reason and the refs are not enforcing it as they should, putting kids' lives in danger. Raley is lucky to be alive today.
Are you high? What hit were you looking at??? He hit him right in the numbers! What hurt him so bad was the whiplash at the end when his head hit the ground. It was a clean hit. A viscously hard hit, but clean. The tackler did what he was supposed to do.
Lucky to be alive, when was the last time a FB was killed on the field? I think you are a little to passionate over this call. It was not illegal and he was going toward the ground and was forced into Kelley. Regardless, yes, it's fortunate that no one was seriously hurt.
Man, our guys were knocking guys out left and right last year. Remember the UT game in Knoxville. We lost 17-12 but MAN--it was like every other play, A Vol went limping off the field. Our "D" will be even more physical this year. Can't wait! Go CATS!!!
I was at the game and I appreciate the hit- but I have a problem with watching this over and over, the kid got seriously hurt, thank god he's ok but why show it again?

There was no helmet to helmet contact on that play. You might want to get those eyes checked.
