  • Chinese people are awesome. <3

  • taichihealthways

  • where can I buy a dvd thank you

  • Form of purple butterfly

  • Wow. I never thought I'd want to learn the fan forms (my Shifu's not into it) but I want to now! Seems like there are elements from the 32 Jian form, are they similar?

  • cool!

  • love the converse bro! <3 haha

  • Simplemente maravilloso gracias por este video

  • Fab video...even better when Jesse Tsao coming to the UK to stay with me and do 4 workshops....one of which is Tai Chi Kung Fu fan....yehaaaaa....very excited...workshops 4th & 5th Sept 2010...Bridgwater Somerset....

  • the fan sounds like he is farting.

  • it sounds like he farts... like ALL THE TIME!!!

  • This is really awesome ^_^ I love it!

  • sorry, ich meinte was anderes

  • sorry, I meant something else

  • this guy is arswome

  • i think hes cool. and it doesnt matter what you where in kung fu/wushu or where you work.

  • hehehe the flag sounds like a fart if u close ur eyes and dont look.

  • i think he is amazing. so cute with his white outfit and converse!

  • I spent a really niece time in Beijing and I'll always remember the groups of Chinese practicing 太极拳 in the parks. That was amazing. I regret that i never joined them :(

  • Ni Hao! Were in china were you???

  • Ni hao! Yes, i spent 1 year in Beijing :)

  • Does this form have a name? Great video:D

  • This routine's name is Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan

  • okey thank you very much:D

  • he works at the Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory in Hawaii? hehe joke

  • Olha , eu lamento muito ! pois, não compreendo o idioma do vídeo. Poderiam taduzir este vídeio por favor?menor . um grande abraço á todos e professores dos videos

  • wow, how cool is that guys!!!!

  • He's wearing converse! :D

  • Haha, I looked at it from the first few seconds, too :D. It's funny how it just totally doesn't fit :D.

  • that is very impressive. x

  • Bravo Master Jesse! Ho Ho Gong Fu! Ho Taiji!

  • ahahaha fart..... you guys funny imagination!

  • yeah that fan totally sounds like farts

  • I never saw Taiji master moving so fast like this!!it look like shaolin kungfu!

  • Each TaiJi style got 3 position(high, mid, low),also each position got 3 form(large, mid, small. the small one is the most powerful one). The TaiJiQuan you watched, mostly they are doing the 盘架子(sonds like pan jia ts). That's mean basic practice(or training), it looks like large one(or big one) to me. I'm waitting to see someone will sent on The Small One(the one I only heard about it). Oh! one more thing, the TaiJis' speed aren't always slow.

  • Thank you very much for uploading^^ I've been learning this about a year & half, and this video was very helpful to modify my movements. It's not as easy as it seems, but it's so much fun to practice^^

  • lol when he opened the fan i thougt i farted

  • that is f*** funny man

    i thougt he fart

  • OMG, I thought that too although I'm not someone who laughts at that usually!XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Back in the day it did, the women had it as self defence but theres had razor sharp blades on the edge ov the fan so if someone say a rapest cme along, they'd just slice there face, throat ect. And there chopsticks in there hair had sharp points on them, so they can be easily equiped and used as a stabbin' weapon. Just thought Id tell ya =)

  • That is actually incorrect. The fan in China was a male weapon, not a weapon for women. Razor blades were also not commonplace in the fans themselves, though they did appear on occasion.

  • Master Jesse Tsao is wearing converse. But other than that, this form is beautiful.

  • Hey, Converse are great for tai chi. They're nice and flat on the bottom. I used to wear them all the time!

  • Actually Tai Chi can be used in MMA.

  • i dont think it suppose to

  • good

  • Truely beautiful!!!!Do you teach alot of Shuai Jiao in the Tai Chi you teach? You got a great WuJi by the way!!!It shows in your energy

  • Thank you! I teach a lot in tai chi push hands, not shuai jiao. In the moving step push hands, you can use certain shuai jiao skills.

  • *bows* very nice, what style of Tai Chi Chuan is this? I was learning Yang for about three years in addition to some Northern Shaolin. You have my quite curious.

  • I think this is a combination of tai chi , Bagua, and kung-fu. This is a Beijing style.

  • Watch this!!!

    Really good "pushing hands".

Is that kind of Tai Chi???

    Amazing!!

    "TAONAMICS - Kampfsystem"

  • Do you remember a famous picture that it looks so different, some people say the picture is a beautiful young girl; others say it is a very old lady. The sound like what is up to the imagination in a person's mind. If you think that way, it will be that, but most people think different way. All the arts are the same!

  • diferent velocity, diferent use, the slow forms are for the practice.

  • yeah but the fan still sounds like farts , and you got to admit , that would be a few really funny ways to cut the cheese.

  • good lesson of kung fu but is too fast to be tai chi

  • It's too fast for Tai Chi what are you talking about??? that's a Tai Chi fan form

  • god, ur all so immature

  • tai ch i is slow , because you have to blow very slow is a moving meditation , this looks like a simple slow kung fu

  • You people are idiots. Appreciate this ancient fan form. This guy is good. It takes 10 of years of practice to get these moves.

  • The fan is to use when he keeps farting....duhhh!...( LOL!)

  • sounds like he keeps Farting!

  • kind of reminds me of a more advanced way of farting then my dad used to do when i was a kid , as far as i know , most dads do the front kick fart .

  • hahaha

  • how come i'm the only one to notice that when he opens the fan it sounds like he's farting ?

  • Great, I love this video, a question which is the name of the song? The master Jesse Tsao is the best!! the # 1 :)

  • you tube spiritual boxing

  • It's a dance.

  • IT's a metal fan that kan be us to strik and block whit.

  • what is the function of the fan anyway?

  • The is a wonderful video. My friends and I are performing this routine for the Chinese New Year Celebration in Memphis

  • Wonderful stuff! Do you practice Zhan Zhuang? "Stand like a tree" It would be nice to see it on video.

    Thank you.

  • Yes, Thank you for like it. I have a Zhan Zhuang part in my Silk Reeling video. You can just search for Silk Reeling on Youtube.

  • So nice! Lovely form. Thank you for sharing this with us!

  • Jesse I enjoy this and your other dvd's very much. I am an American born Chinese and it is so nice to hear your lessons in English instead of only in Mandarin which I don't speak. I do speak some cantonese. How is TSAO written in Chinese! I may also have the same last name chich is the same as the chinese general who retreated in battle. Thank You!

  • Randy, it is great to know you like my teachings. I have two more productions coming soon as a Christmas gift for my remote area tai chi friends. Just "Subscribe" at the right upper corner to see the new videos announcement. Yes, my last name is the same as Cao Cao, the General in Chinese classic novel "Three Kingdoms", about 1800 years ago.

  • Nice moves

  • that's really neat

  • hey this aint dynasty warriors ucant use fans to kill ppl anymore

  • moron its not for killing people its the training and to controll mind and body

  • yeh it was a joke idiot -.- jeez ppl these days rofl

  • Uh...if you can use umbrellas to kill peeps, you sure can use fans =.=, all about imagination.

  • Do you have a teaching video or DVD for these forms?

  • Yes, this is just a sample from the teaching video. Please visit taichihealthways dot com to make order.

  • je je , nice video, ok. sayonara my friends.

  • i really liked it!

  • I love tha fartin noises from tha fan

  • .. kinda made me laugh when reading+hearing XD

  • Haha! lol

  • nice moves,i like it!

  • Thank you!!

  • I learned this form and applications from Master Nganga Talo-naa, believe me, it is far from a dance, very nasty applications and the form produces a very powerful internal energy. Form is for energy cultivation, but all Tai Chi has application and fighting, not everyone teaches it. Nice video!

  • elegant :)

  • dont miss 2:54!!!!! LoL

  • the fan sound like farts...lol

  • Tai Chi isnt a fighting style....

  • but ther is one figthing style in tai chi

    it's combat tai chi

  • yes Tai chi is a fighting style..dont bllieve it..come to me..i will kick ur ass with Tai Chi..then..u will know..if its a fighting style or not

  • your statement is not very tai chi like. you should not have to prove yourself to others. it is not your fault that other wish to remain ignorant of the wondrous things in this world. i do tai chi as well.

  • if you did tai chi you would realize that it is a fighting style. if you do tai chi, you need a better instructor that maybe understands this style. i do tai chi, i understand many of its complexities.

  • Tai Chi Quan is the "combat" style of Tai Chi.

  • if you had done tai chi correctly, you would have realized it can be a very deadly fighting art. curious, you study 15 years and dont learn anything worth knowing, i study 1 year, and understand many of its concepts. do your research.

  • Read my comment again, understand what I am saying before you respond.........apparently you don't read English very well......=-D

  • apparently..ur retarded

  • It's "you are", learn to speak English properly before you even talk about anything else.........=-D

  • what did u just say..cz..am having a hard time figuring out..on earth we don't speak monkey language..

  • thats funny i said the same thing

  • this is gr8 hes so gud

  • taichi is very interesting martial art..... but somethng in tihis vid , doesnt really fit for me... those tennis he s wearing hahahhaahhaha it takes off all the mystic enviroment hahahahhahaha cool

  • That's what I kept laughing at through the whole video! I was like, "....wow, how Asian is that?"

  • yah hahahha... there are several vids wit his style.... thoise tennis rulz...

  • When the thing comes out it sounds like a fart.

  • Interesting. Worth giving it a shot if I had a fan!

  • what is the name of this form?

  • That was lovely. I only really watched the beginning, because I'm not interested in instruction, but it was beautiful.

  • you are watching the fruit of one of the oldest and by far most advanced culture in the world. Not about computers, guns, and other things the current society is praising for its instant gratification aspect. This is about controlling your inner self to overcalm the challenges of life (agression yes but also health, knowledge and more important values). Rage and instant release of it is today's worst disease of this world. very contagious as you can see on this thread.

  • What a valid comment!Thank you! Your choice of words to describe the essence >> "controlling your inner self...">> is so well chosen;

yes,and I agree - I find some of the comments in this thread very aggressive and not in the spirit of Tai Chi at all....

  • What a valid comment!Thank you! Your choice of words to describe the essence >> "controlling your inner self...">> is so well chosen;

yes,and I agree - I find some of the comments in this thread very aggressive and not in the spirit of Tai Chi at all....

  • That's absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to learn how to do that myself.

  • I agree with Duo456 :]

  • lol- ok-- well first off- lots of asian girls are very pretty--

and secondly- if you hate asian ppl so much why did you take the time to watch the video? and thirdly-- what kind of racist idiot are you? and forthly-- yes, a gun would kill even the best martial arts master-- but the difference is that even a 3 year old can be a little wuss and fire a gun from across a room-- but it takes a real man to get in someone's face and fight them-- stop being such a girly man!

  • an even bigger man would avoid the confrontation altogether. not 'get in someone's face' ..or so im told :D

  • indeed- unfortunatly, i cannot say im that cool...lol, although i wish i could- haha

  • i think your a lost cause, an idiot, a weak shit who is tough in a computer screen. its an art form. dont fight it just respect... and shut your childish mouth.. thanks

  • Kryptoniterxn117, in china weaons were illegalized for years, so many weapons were disguised, a simple fan was given razor sharp steel edges for protections, I'm pretty sure your 'thunder dick' wouldn't survive long.

  • Wow reading all these arrogant comments make me annoyed. What do you guys know? And that person saying he could beat it with his thunder dick, well i'd be laughing when he pulverizes it with the end of the fan. Even though I'm not chinese, they do not think of the dumbest things ever. And what have you thought of, Mr. Smartass? Show some respect to martial art practicioners.

  • looks like a ballerina a fucking one!

  • he must've taken down some dumbass in metal suits, cuss COME ON, a fuCKIN FAN! ok ok, i'll beat it with my THunder dick. lMAO, damn chinese people think of the dumbest things eva, like leaping men while fight, good for a movie tho.

  • You wouldn't even last one minute against that man, using his "fuCKIN Fan". I'd bet, after the first swipe you would be lying on the floor crying like a baby, if he feels generous that is. If he's really pissed off though you will probably wake up in a hospital.

  • you DO know that those fans are made of steel right? and you DO know that steel hurts when you get hit with it? or did you never learn that?

  • What da' Fan?

  • this is very effective martial art for making flies laugh, hahaha. What are you gonna do with this? except mayby discipline and faggot ness.

  • I'd do a little research before insulting tradition, wise-ass. I'd like to see you do some Tai Chi with as much beauty and form. And about your thunder dick, I'd imagine this man on the screen here would just as easily remove it for you.

  • research what? a waste of time, bunch of short pricks in dresses jumping around with fans, wow. oh shit, here comes the destiny death fan, hahahaha

  • Seriously, do a little research on war fans before you go around acting like a know-it-all. Imagine if that fan had steel or iron edges instead of bamboo. Traditional war fans are basically one big blade when opened and could effortlessly slice through one's throat (or your "THunder dick".) Ninja used to apply poison to their war fans, making the them even more deadly.

  • I practice the art of the fan and have always enjoyed watching videos of masters at their best. XD

  • it is almost a lost art

  • more mysticism... this kungfu fan tai chi form was only recently compiled...

  • actualy studies show that the samurai used these technequies to help them relax...sure the guys wearing converse but thats not the point =]

  • thats a man isnt it whose talkin bout their moms?

  • The silly banter on this comment page distracts from the beauty and skill of these arts you two (Seiruu and Serenady747) should be outside meditating.

  • Weather you spell it tai chi or taichi, both is wrong. The correct transkription in pinyin is "taiji".Tai in 4th and ji in 2nd sound. You can perform taiji with or without music. For beginners it is easier to learn the rythm of the moves with music.

  • taichi is abuteful matrial art but ´tsnit just a way to ceep yor body frech it is altso a god selfdefense^^

  • Hehe cool. I uploaded a video of my mother doing the same fan dance :) Except that my mother uses a song that actually fits the dance. She got it from an instructional video of this fan dance.

  • Ya your mom should learn real taichi first! Taichi may be done with music but it is not a dance!

  • My mom learnt the dance form of it, what's wrong with that? If she feels good by learning Tai Chi in dance form with suitable music I say more power to her. Only narrowminded bigots like you would make an issue out of that while spelling Tai Chi as 'Taichi'.

Go and watch this video and tell me they can't do it in dance form, you ignorant fool.

  • Spelling? It's T'ai Chi if you're so particular about that. And I'm not an ignorant fool. I do what you call the dance form and I had the humility to learn the basics first. I didn't mean to discourage. Go ahead and look like a fool hehe.

  • That guy really great!!!Excellent

  • where's the rest of the instructional part?

  • There are 4 different types of fighting fans. A tessen is the most common type

  • Can you tell me what the 4 types are?

  • Saihai, Dansen uchiwa, Gunsen, and of course, Tessen

  • Iactually have the same fan. It suprised me at first how heavy ti was but, it IS made with steel...

    And the shoes rock!

  • i like this alot cuz he got his traditional chinese clothes on with i might add... a pair of chucks. classic

  • Even a playing card is a deadly weapon in a masters hands, OK! With a Chopsticks he take down a small army. But with fan he wipe out whole city!!

    Wespect, alright!!

  • I hate to get into a fight with this guy. He'll fan me to death.

  • you can buy fans with blades.

  • Great comment!

  • really nice i love fan kung fu
