Geez so fancy bro. Cant we just draw it on paper and tape it to our computer screens? lol jk. but seriuosly thats a decent amount of work there u gettin payed for that?
@kingdomheartsss On TG I charged about 2000L$ for a custom. MG they go for 10000L$ a custom. 1000L$ ~= $4 USD. I primarily made public avatars on TG that went for 500L$ each. When I made this video I had made over 400,000L$ from avatar and weapon sales.
Then I was hacked so I sold off my money for $2000 USD and quit. :U
@MortalWalk2 Flipping will only work within the local area of the drawing, only where the pixels are active or selected. To flip beyond that, you can create a small pixel of equal distance apart, or flip it as you've been doing and then use the Offset filter (Filters > Other > Offset) to move it over the required number of units to the right.
@ZombieZephyr Alright so im at the stage where i have to flip the eye lids, when i select the whole right half of the canvas with the Marquee tool and click flip horizontally it flips it across the whole canvas (for example left eye lid on frame 2 when i flip it goes to left eye on frame 1) I dont think that the tool is working correctly
@francez123456789 You can't rip the texture directly from the head-- that's theft and is illegal. You'd need access to the actual eye texture: if you have modify permissions on it, open it up, and got to File > Save Texture As...
It'll store it to your computer as a .png or .tga.
@rehabability I've done that many times before. It requires some workaround. Here's what you can do:
Separate the eyes into 2 layers so you have 2 eyes, top and bottom, for each layer. (you can do this with the selection tools) Use an offset filter to move one layer on top of the other, 512 px. Link all eye layers together and use the transform tool to resize them (alt will center the resize). Move the old ones back when done, make sure everything lines up.
@DarksiderDarmoset You have the "Shape layers" option selected. It's the square box with the 4 vectors on each corner, at the top of the toolbar. Select instead "Paths", which looks the same but has a pen tool inside the box.
@DarksiderDarmoset Fill path is supposed to do that. It'll try to fill in the shape as if the end and the start are connected, if they aren't already.
Stroke should simply outline. Make sure again that you're not using the Shape Layer pen tool, and you're using the Path pen tool. At 2:37 these are up in the top left hand corner of my screen, in the top toolbar.
@egocentress Unfortunately no. I never was able to figure out blender, though I do know it's capabilities can potentially surpass Zbrush, Maya, or any other editor out there if used properly.
PS 7. So it can work for that and all versions beyond.
And for high quality. just hit the 360p and switch it to 480p. (Full screen might help as well.) Though, in all honesty, there aren't many good-quality screen-capturing devices that don't cost a lot of money.
you could try using gimp, its a free photoshop alternative and its nearly an exact clone. its also what i use, so if you have any questions feel free to ask me ^^
i have the feeling im going to be very good at this.

@MortalWalk2 it all depends on how much you have selected. select just the eye area with the marquee and then flip.

I made eyes using the tutorial and they came out way too far apart. Do I really have to go back and move the eyes closer? D:

Why does the pen tool automatically fill in the area that it selected?

@ZombieZephyr When I select "Fill path" or "Stroke path" it fills in the area between the pen selection now

Make sure you have it in high quality, and yeah, I have to talk fast due to the 10-minute time limit. :s
In hindsight I should've probably added subtitles.

really, i thought photoshop was more effective for fur effects but gimp is good too. Managed to make a seriously decent Furry Skin Texture with it.
