His groom was never more than a few feet away. It's not like he's allowed to wander around alone!!! And he certainly isn't allowed to do that when other horses are walking the shedrow!! Believe me, his safety and the safety of others is number one in that barn. Doug was a wonderful host.
I makes me feel good to see a race horse doing normal "horsey" things like stealing from the grain supplies! Gawwwd forbid I leave the feed room door open in my barn! You will find our how many horses fit in a phone booth!
What a moron. Even the most "bomb-proof" horse can startle & run off, and in a busy area like a track barn, you're begging for problems. Do this at home if you want to show off for the girls.
